Went to ask for admission. Until the application is purchased they won't tell the fee structure. For kinder garden they are charging 2 Lakhs. Receptionist don't have a courtesy to talk to people and give clear information. If these are the ethics they follow, not sure what they teach our kids.

Cons - 1) Under-construction school - very dangerous for small kids in terms of dust, labour, etc. Only half the school is complete. Though they promise construction work does not happen in the mornings some kids have told they hear the sounds. 2) Leg pains - They have up to 3 floors now. This could go higher in the future (no fixed roof). Some UKG kids are made to walk three floors every day since there is no ramp. Hence, many kids have complained of leg pain. 3) Extremely narrow roads - so if you want to drop and pick up - its a challenge. Every day is chaotic. So you are forced to use their transport which is 30k plus. 4) Overcrowded - 12 sections now. This could go upto 16 sections (like the current 1st std). So, imagine when the school is full - 12 sections *40 students per class * prekg to 3rd std = 2880 students - there will be no place for them to conduct a general assembly or sports. The kids play area is sooo small, it cannot accommodate even 2 classes at a time 4) New ignorant teachers - It is not easy to find good quality teachers today. And considering there are so many sections, there are very high chances your kid will be taught by a person who herself is not upto the mark. There have been cases where the teacher has thrown books on the kid for being too talkative in LKG!! Parents have complained but the Principal has not suspended that teacher. Considering its a new campus and they have too many sections & low budget for teachers, it is obvious they will find it a challenge to get good quality teachers!! 5) Rushing the portions - The current 19/20 academic year started late, hence the teachers are rushing the portions and putting more pressure on parents to teach. 6) Less chances for your kid to stand out - While one event will supposedly include participation of all kids, other events will have only 1-2 kids from every section, hence reducing the chances of your kid to be selected for a stage performance. 7) Too many extra charges - Over and above the fees, they ask you to pay for extra classes like LEAPSTART - an absolutely stupid program they have substituted for PT. Though the government has deemed such classes unlawful, DPS continues this practice openly & makes it compulsory for parents to pay for such extra programs. Pros - 1) BRAND! - You can be proud that you are sending your kid to a branded school. 2) Technology - Everything is updated right from the curriculum to holidays to pending fees, etc 3) Some teachers are Good both in terms of teaching and being friendly with kids. Hopefully the other teachers who are currently unfit will become like these in the future.

The standards of this school is raising every day. The children are nurtured and made focused on their own abilities rather mocking up the books. High standard teachers. But students has to put their own efforts and interest to make their own levels of scoring.

This is the Delhi Public School South junior campus. The is the new campus, where students from nursery, lkg, ukg, class 1 and 2 study. Mordern infrastructure and good teaching staff. The class rooms are well ventilated and spacious. There is a indoor basketball and badminton courts.

Beautiful campus, admin staff were polite, admission process was hassle free. Fees seem little expensive but almost all schools charge the same now a days, Hope we don't have to pay more during the academic year. Look forward to experiencing the educational journey with DPS.

Patient staff, office members and they explain things when asked. Hope to have the offline classes start soon .. also found out that it is a reasonably priced school compared to some others with similar great reputation.. one the best part is that they have multiple schools within Bangalore, not sure if so, but it helps if you need to shift homes midway in any term .. good place for kids!!
