★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Malik deserves a fifty on a scale of one to five. Thats how good he is! My father and I, both are doctors and recently, on an ill-fated day he was diagnosed with SCC tongue. Knowing how dicey head and neck tumours can be, we were scared to death. I immediately contacted a friend of mine at TMH Mumbai and was asked to contact Dr Malik. Though young, he was highly recommened by his teachers and co-workers.
I was still almost numb and in a state of shock from the diagnosis and called Dr Malik late in the evening. He was so polite and and agreed to meet us the next day despite being extreemly busy. Dr Malik explained the possibilities and the precise plan of action as per the current guidelines of management. Dr Malik seemed confident and updated us with a clear plan of action, instead of beating around the bush like most others.
We proceeded with the formalities and the surgery was scheduled sooner than could be arranged. Dr Malik was so considerate in explaining that he would need to keep the tongue wound raw to maintain better speech and also offered a vocational therapist for speech and swallowing. Dr Malik was readily available in post-operative period .
It has been a couple of weeks now and my father has gradually started improving. I must add that Dr Malik is extreemly diligent and adept in his work, and also humble, caring, compassionate and kind. I indeed find it difficult to express my gratitude towards him words. God bless him!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was not sure as to how to proceed for surgery of pleomorphic adenoma. There was risk involved of getting my facial nerve damaged. Dr. Akshat malik, took me into confidence and encouraged me to get the surgery done. The surgery was successful and no damage was caused to the facial nerves. Dr. Malik is one of the finest head and neck cancer surgeon I have come across . Highly recommended. I don't see myself getting through this surgery without his support. Thank you doctor for helping me out with this critical surgery.

Though my husband's treatment was not a successful 1 but he took really care of small things, thought me alot about tracheostomy care and guidelines. Very polite and humble when communicating with his patient and attendant. Whenever asked any question through watsup,messages or call always ready to assist.
