Since both the fruits and vegetables are perishable, they are always under conditions that will keep them fresh for as long as possible. These types of stores are common in malls or street markets. Convenience stores are also small grocery stores that sell sandwiches and snack foods. Usually the prices are higher than in supermarkets or ordinary grocery stores. The difference is that delicatessen stores sell delicacies such as high quality coffee beans, fried chicken, pickled vegetables, cold cuts, cold salads, spare ribs and olives. A delicatessen store also offers foods that last for a day. Some of such stores are large like supermarkets and have their food shelved.
