★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had visited Dr Amit Sharma at Fortis Hospital Vashi, where in he explained us the diagnosis and gave us options of the line of treatments available.
When we opted for surgery, he told us the most affordable yet best hospital that we should get my mother's surgery done. He was very transparent and let us enquire about the cost estimates at other hospital, so that we are aware that we getting the best service at most affordable cost.
Just to let you know that we had tried chiropractor, physiotherapist etc but it was just a minor temperory relief from pain. My mother was not able to sit upright or do anything on her.
5 days after her surgery, she has been doing everything on her own and all her leg pain because of the L5S1 and L4L5 is gone.
During the entire journey and infact currently during our post surgery treatment also, Dr Amit Sharma has been humble enough to respond to WhatsApp or calls really quick.
Infact he has helped us with a distributor who can give us injections for osteoporosis at a great discount.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I being a physiotherapist, had backache for many years. I had developed severe backache, numbness and tingling radiating to my leg. I was unable to sit, stand, walk even for few minutes and had excruciating pain even while turning in bed.
I contacted Dr. Amit Sharma, he asked me to get MRI done. He explained my condition and highlighted the options available.. Since my condition was worsening with every passing day, Dr. Amit recommended lumbar instrumentation.
We went ahead by his words and got the surgery done.
I was able to walk the very next day of the surgery, and was discharged on the same day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My father in law who is 72 years old had severe back pain ,we consulted our GP and he advised us to see Dr Amit .The very first consultation Dr Sharma made us feel comfortable and tried to analyse our problem patiently,he advised a few medications and prescribed for an MRI
On doing the MRI we found a tumor in my father in laws lower back which was supressing his nerves due to which the pain was radiating in his back,since the tumor had grown big Dr Sharma advised us to undergo a surgery
As we had faith in his words we went ahead for the surgery and by gods grace and Dr Sharmas experience the surgery was successful.
Bow my father in law is completely out of pain and has been walking well with a better posture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Amit Sharma is one of those doctors who not only understands the pain of the patient but also the anguish of their relatives. My mom had to go through a major operation on her lower back and at the time Mumbai was going through the 2nd wave of Covid. I vividly remember the day when we got her admitted. The hospital was crowded and with all the restrictions imposed we thought it would be difficult to meet doctor personally. Instead of taking the easier route of a phone call, Dr. Amit Sharma personally met us near the visitors area and explained to us the details of the surgery with images on his mobile phone. The way he explained the details really helped us get over our anxiety. Also during during follow up meetings he would clearly explain to us the progress. Not that I hope anyone should go through such surgeries but if you ever need one and you get the services of Dr. Amit Sharma be assured you are in safe hands. God bless you doctor.
