My dad has been under the care of Dr. Amit Shobhavat and I would like to say he is the best... It's not only the medicine but his care and concern which create wonders in the patient... Hats off to doctor and his treatment...

My dad was admitted in somaiya hospital for covid with no major seriousness. His ct score was 0/25, oxygen saturation was 99 at time of admission. As a preventive measure, we got him admitted but due to negligence of the doctor Amit Shobhavat, we lost him after 8days. He complained of black stools n had been vomitting for the last 3 days and the doctor said he's depressed ? instead of treating him. His sugar levels went low due to non treatment by dr Amit Shobhavat. I will not recommend him ever. He hides information and doesn't reveal the medication and the treatment being given to the patient. At such times of this pandemic, he doesn't respond to calls or messages. My dad was taken to the ICU and then after that, the doctor never responded to our calls nor did we receive any information from the doctor for my dad. We ran from pillar to post to get information for my dad. But all In vain. And one morning we get a call from the hospital that my father is no more. For 2 days my dad was in the ICU but no information was given by the treating dr, Amit Shobhavat. In fact he didn't even go to see his patient. Coincidentally, dr Amit Shobhavat happens to be our distant relative, but inspite of that, due to his negligence, we lost our father. I am highly disappointed with him n his negligence. I don't recommend him at all. He spoilt my mom's case too.

Sorry Dr Shobhavat. Am unable to reply to ur answer from my id. Hence used my other id. M very much aware that my father was 70+ n with comorbidities. However, The problem was that you didnt pay attention on his vitals even when he was complaining of loose motions, vomiting n headache in front of my brother who was there for 3 days in the same room. My brother (himself a patient that time) was literally struggling to call sisters and RMO's from pillar to post but to no avail. Why were blood tests not done regularly when you knew that he is 70 plus. How come all of a sudden creatinine shot up to 9.9? how could you not know that earlier? He was under you for so many days. You had discharged him, with such conditions?? Then suddenly how come renal failure? He never was a kidney patient. I would rather say that even on the day of discharge my brother only called you up and informed that how can he take him home in such conditions where he was not even able to walk, talk or even eat for that matter? Why it didnt come out of the local RMO's mouth in those 3 days? My dad had himself complained of black stools/motion to you in front of my brother then why didnt you act and got him tested at once. It was you who has told that my dad was the fittest of all then what happened all of a sudden. His Chest CT scan on the date of admission to ICU from the ward was also only 9/25, which coincidentally increased after getting admitted in the hospital as a preventive measure. As I mentioned earlier that his CT score was 0/25. Then how after admission, CT score went high. It is clear that because of sheer negligence from your side did he loose his life. Whatever excuses you try to come out with, The truth remains the same. You mentioned that, you updated my brother about my dad. Sorry to say this dr, but you never updated my brother since the time my father was taken to the ICU. We in fact were running from pillar to post and get in touch with you or the hospital but all in vain. It's sheer negligence on your part, that we had to lose our father, who was the fittest. By hiding information about medication and no lab tests being done periodically, in the hospital, we lost our father. And this would never be forgotten.
