★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would describe Dr Bhan as a true 'Karmayogi'. My dad had his bypass surgery in Jan 2021, under him. I can say based on my personal experience, that he was the best we could have. The best part is he has been very approachable ,and has responded and clarified our doubts on WhatsApp as and when required ,inspite of his super hectic schedule.
Kudos to Dr Bhan and his team of doctors in Medanta. Thank You!.

This doctor is very likely suffering from dementia.
I had been diagnosed and was on my way to germany for surgery when Covid came so i had to go in india.
I asked Dr. Bhan to do the specific surgery i needed.
After some time he started giving his alternative theory about diagnosis of my symptoms.
I told him respectfully that this was not possible since his theory did not explain any of my symptoms and was not even factually possible. (for details you can contact me, i will save the scientific language for now, I am very educated on the subject as well as i have been researching and working with many of Europe's most qualified specialists for years on the subject so this "new theory" of Anil Bhan had already been ruled out as well as it was simply not possible by any means to reach that conclusion.
I had the same conversation with him 5 times. I felt a little bit weird, but on the day of the surgery i told him my diagnosis and said that it was very important that this specific procedure was being done. He said "yes, i know!"
So i went into surgery.
Then 1 day after i come out of surgery i realize that the doctor has performed on me the wrong surgery!!
He did a surgery on me for a condition that i do not have, have never had and never needed help for but didn´t do the one i asked him to do.
Even i had told him six times what i wanted him to do, and also that i did not want to have the surgery did.
He avoided me for six days post surgery, and when i could finally force him to speak to me and answer my questions, he could not remember my diagnosis, my symptoms or the reason i was having surgery!!
He proceeded to be very rude, and he basically ruined my body without taking any responsibility.
He might have been a good surgeon in the past, but either he got dementia or he is so arrogant that he literally does not hear what his patients say and in my case he did the wrong surgery.
It cannot really be worse than that.
Do yourself a favor and find a different surgeon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ He is a Great Doctor and more over he is one of the best human being i have ever seen in my life. He successfully operated my mother for AVR and took great care of my mother. My mother has to undergo another G.I. surgery after 8 days of heart operation, and then she has been shifted to G.I. ward.
Dr. Bhan has a very busy schedule with his patients. But Even after so much busy schedule, Dr. Bhan visits to see her in other ward, although it is not his job to come and see the patients who don't belongs to his ward. But this shows the kindness in him.
He is a great great human being and a Genius Doctor.

His duty is to make sure to empty your pockets,
You have to undergo surgery as soon as possible is his pet dialogue.
Dont waste your hard earned money .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Anil is one of the best doctors he saved my father's life we went Chandigarh also there's was no better treatment they say that it's really difficult in his case but when we went medanta we should appreciate medanta as well my father had liver chirossis for that other doctor did tace liver operation and the. Dr Anil bahan did his heart surgery and it went successful and after that we had some complications in wound bcoz my father had dibates and Anil bahan even cured it no doctors was having his case because he had 2 disease once so Anil bahan and his team handled it very well and today my father is alhamdulillah good going really nice doctor and if we talk about money there is expenses no offense but it's not more than our patients life

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ He is the one of the best cardiac surgeon at present in India. Recently I had gone through REDO BENTALL OPERATION by him. Before coming to him I have visited at least 10 renouned cardiac surgeon in West bengal and chennai, who were not much willing to do the surgery because of high risk of survival. I have been refered to him by Dr K.M. Mandana, HOD, CTVS, Fortis Hospital, Kolkata. Dr. Ani Bhan is very soft spoken person, but his communication is so assuring, confidence giving, that all apprehension of a patient and patient party will vanish immediately. During the course of hospital stay he always communicate to the patient by himself, not through his team. His dedication to his work is beyond imagination. He used to come to hospital at 6/7 AM and leaves not before 9/10PM. I have seen him occasionally operating whole night and in sundays to deal with emergency patients, without any change of mood or routine next day. He is totally dedicated to his work.
Though Medanta is a 5 star hospital, the charges are almost at per with other renouned hospital like, Max, Fortis, Apollo etc. As a health care professional I understood that Dr. Bhan never goes for any unnecessary test or innvestigations.
