★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This gentleman professor is a genius. More than 30 years of experience in pediatrics and the director of Institute of Child Health (ICH), the first pediatrics institute of India. No doubts about his expertise, he has created many other young pediatricians. Recently i visited him for a relative's baby who had a rare disease. The parents consulted with other doctors but the baby was suffering for more than a week with fever,swollen limbs, blisters, skin peeling. Other doctors suspected measles, thrombosis, some others suspected cellulitis and what not. Even a lab report confirmed that it was cellulitis. But I insisted the parents to visit Dr ghosh for the last opinion and arranged appointment, and guess what ...after listening to all the case history he glanced at the cellulitis report and after staring at the baby for a while and touching the feets. He spoke "Previous treatment and even the reports are wrong, baby is suffering from a very rare disease called "Kawasaki". He said very confidently that an echocardiography of heart will show clear indications about this. Within next few hours the test results came out and exactly matched with what he said and the baby was admitted for treatment immediately. Later we learnt more about the disease and were able to relate to every symptom which the baby has shown in last few days.
Note: Some parents end up asking repetitive questions even after answer is already given by him (not their fault, they just want to reiterate and make sure things before leaving). So he might sometimes irritatingly or annoyingly refer you to his junior fellow doctors to clear doubts. So that he can devote his precious time to the next child in need. It may offend you sometimes, but try getting into his shoes you will not get offended anymore.
Just imagine a life of a person doing his job at a railway enquiry help desk, you will never get offended ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very systematic process. Less waiting time with respect to other clinic. Always recommend to visit if you have some doubts related to health of your little one. Few parents have problems the ways he treats the patients here. I am fine as long as my needs are fulfill. You may need to call 40-50 times to get a booking.

Moreover he is very reachable, When we were out of town and my baby had stomach issues, we called the clinic and asked for advice, he did not hesitate and gave us good advice for the same, hence rating him very high.
