We had been to Sita Bhateja hospital to meet Dr. Arvind Bhateja, Neuro and Spine surgeon, regarding a transsphenoidal Surgery for pituitary adenoma. Dr. Arvind Bhateja, popularly known as Dr. AB is one person you feel that you are half cured once you speak to him. Dr. AB was very patient in listening to us and explaining/clarifying all the queries which helped us to a large extent. The office staff and nursing staff were very friendly and approachable. A big kudos for their selfless service. Post discharge, I had to get readmitted for low sodium levels in blood. The hospital emergency handled the situation very well. All in all, it was a stress less experience that we had at the hospital. A big thumbs up.

I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome in my right hand and was suggested for a median nerve release procedure. I had delayed it for sometime due to certain home commitments. With my condition deteriorating, I was a bit stressed. I consulted with Dr.Arvind, who took up my case with urgent priority and gave me an appointment and assured me that there was nothing to worry. I was also quickly given a slot for surgery. I chose to stay back at Sita Bhateja Speciality Hospital post surgery. Right from the time of being admitted,upto my sugery at the operation theatre and post operation, I was very touched by the hospitality of the team of doctors, nurses at the nurse station, the front office and the housekeeping staff . Overall I was very comforted to be in safe hands. Dr Arvind Bhateja is calm and patient, not only as a doctor, but also a wonderful human being. He has the knack of precisely identifying the medical condition and also suggesting the best remedy, be it treatment be it surgically or non surgically. The rooms at the hospital are well equipped with facilities and the food provided at the canteen is very well made, with healthy options for both the patient and the attender. I was very touched that Sita Bhateja Speciality Hospital, through their charity arm, also provides healthcare treatment at very affordable rates to people from lower income groups. It is very heartening to see them engaging in giving back to the society. Overall I would definitely recommend this hospital for someone who is on the lookout for a genuine and professional healthcare service provider. Well , my words to express my gratitude to Doctor Arvind Bhateja may be less as because their is so much to write about. I have known Dr. Bhateja since a year now, it is a true saying if you are doing a great work people just get to know you irrespective of any review or stuffs. My mother was suggested a surgery for a disc bulge and all doctors in Kolkata suggested a surgery, she got to know about Dr. Bhateja from a friend and decided to visit Bangalore to our home. I had booked an appointment on Practo but before going to the hospital I had to enquire about some details so that we dnt end up missing something ,I was extremely surprised when I called him he said he was approaching for an OT and will call me back. I was very sure such a big doctor may not call me back,but I was wrong. He immediately called me after an hour and informed about the details and called for meeting. Proud to say that my mother recovery was received in less than 1k, yes in the market of medical business , Dr. Bhateja suggested medication and physiotherapy and not surgery. Surgery was kept as the last option. Touchwood it's been a year and my mother takes an hour of healthy walk without taking any medicines. Now that was my mother's recovery story. I am the second example of getting treated by Dr.Bhateja. I was diagnosed with acute disc bulge in my spine in L5 S1 making my left leg go completely numb and making it difficult to even walk for a minute. Dr. Bhateja suggest a surgery but at the same time he said to check for few days the non surgical way. I did try for many non surgical procedure and was good for a month but the pain was back the same way. I dediced not to delay it further and met Dr. Bhateja, after examining my x-ray reports he said me only thing that Do not worry. I was so surprised to hear his motivating words were as the other doctors informed about 6 months rest with complete removal of disc etc. But Dr.Bhateja explained me that in my case just the disc which is blocking my nerves needs removal not entire disc. I only trusted Dr.Bhateja and today almost after 1 week of my surgery,I feel so happy to be back to my normal life without any pain. Extremely professional doctor, amazing staffs, very hygiene treatment, delicious food of canteen. Nothing to complain about. Thanks a lot doctor. You are doing an amazing service of ethically treating your patience based upon their condition and not unlike other doctors or hospital who just loot the people for the sake of making money .

Dr. Aravind Bhateja Sir is a god. He treats patients like his family member, never ignores patients simple health problem. he listen carefully and treats step by step and never hurry for operation, i consulted many big hospitals and doctors my mother neuro related problem and all they had suggested for operation even without treating her. I just consulted Bhateja sir for second opinion but the way he explained on treatment i was convinced and started taking treatment, trust me he's the only doctor i ever seen very caring and takes medicine as Nobel work and not money minded , you will ever regret if you consult sir.

This is really the most patient friendly hospital I have seen. The doctors treat the patients with empathy. The family members don't have to wait forever to talk to the doctors. My mother has been admitted several times and it has been a very re-assuring and non-scary experience for both the patient and the family. In particular Dr. Anindita Bhateja is a wonderful Doctor. She does not treat a patient like a patient - but with utmost respect and as a human being first. The check in and discharge procedures are not lengthy. The cashier is an amazing woman and extremely pleasant . They respect the family members time. I give this hospital a 5 star rating. I highly recommend this hospital.

Bangalore is blessed to have such a skilled Neuro-surgeon who is clearly SERVICE-MINDED by heart. He is one person to reach for any neuro-surgical issues!! I wish Sita-Bhateja hospital had lived forever _/\_ It is the privilege for our country and city that such great doctors are within our reach! My brother was not so lucky to have him treated under Dr.Arvind Bhateja yet. We came to know of him very late! By this time, we spent a lot of money & hope elsewhere! His condition remains critical. With helplessness in mind & lack of knowledge, we approached Dr.Bhateja. He clearly guided us the right way ahead & gave us the best possible suggestion that is sustainable for his further treatment and care. I had a problem of L4 and L5 disc bulge since almost 2 years and I had been to sita Bhateja hospital 2 years back where Dr. Arvind Bhateja checked and he didn't suggest for a surgery like other doctors. He gave me medicines and I was completely fine for 2 years with no pain at all. Due to my own negligence the pain increased suddenly a month back. I wanted to go to Dr. Arvind Bhateja again as I really liked his counseling. Then I got to know that he sits in Sparsh hospital now and immediately I went to sparsh with my new MRI report. Seeing my MRI, he suggested a surgery this time as my disc has come out more. My surgery was on last Friday. Before surgery Dr. Arvind Bhateja explained me the process as in how he is going to do my surgery and he sounded just like a family member to me. Surgery went really well and after surgery I got to know that my disc has become like a bone and it was a difficult surgery. Next day of my surgery I was discharged. Dr. Arvind Bhateja,being such a known and busy doctor told me that if I have any issues I can message him on his personal number directly and he will surely reply. I don't have any pain now and I'm completely fine. If you have any neuro problem, I will surely recommend Dr. Arvind Bhateja to all. He talks like a friend/ family member and makes the patient calm and explains you the problem as well as the solution.
