You can come here with your friends and enjoy the Nature.
This small park contain a statue of Dr. Babasahab Ambedkar, the name of university is named after him.
And yes botanical garden and this small statue park are different ( on the map the shape of botanical garden and this statue park are mixed ).
Between both of them a small street and Sati mata temple is situated.
You are not allowed here with your slippers.(you have to remove your slippers at the entrance).

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU), formerly Marathwada University, is located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. It is named after B. R. Ambedkar, an Indian jurist, political leader, academic and the father of the Indian Constitution. The university was established on 23 August 1958. This university has contributed to the progress of adjoining regions and people in innumerable ways. Since its inception, the university has around 456 colleges affiliated[2] to it, which come under four districts (Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed and Osmanabad) of Maharashtra State.
In 1978, the Maharashtra Chief Minister, the state legislature and University administration approved the renaming University after B. R. Ambedkar.[3] This decision was strongly opposed by Hindu community[4] resulting in the anti-Dalit pogrom.[5] The Namantar Andolan was the renaming movement raised by Dalits for 16 years. On 14 January 1994 the University name was renamed as "Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University".[6]
