★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a small monastery behind the statue, but no Kuti for monks so you have to stay in the boiling hot Dhamma hall, as of 2018 no toilet either. The laypeople can do basic Theravada Buddhist liturgy but as there is no resident monk it's difficult to make progress. You can also go alms as the Buddhist village is right behind the monastery compound.
