★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lost my mother who was being treated under DR. Bharat Shah at Saifee hospital. Mother had pnuemonia in lungs and we insisted to doctor to get a pulmonologist work with him to ensure we have specialist doctors working to cure mom. But Dr. Bharat made me and my family go through real mental stress by insisting on not having any other doctor on case because he is an all-rounder, knows it all and what if their is conflict between him and other doctor on line of treatment whom would we chose. His assistant doctor, an intensivist Dr. Deepesh Agarwal, also threatened us to pull off working on mom's case if we got pulmonologist on the case. Ultimately, when things started going out of hand in mom's health, both doctors started asking us if we want to have another doctor. Also, in last days there was negligence, cathether got blocked for 4 hours while she was on ventilator.. I know doctor is not God and not necessarily save every patient, but one who is too egoistic and think he knows it all and denies working with other doctors, cause mental and emotional stress to patients relatives by intimidating them for questions asked, is not worthy at all.
