★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is my good fortune to have undergone an enlarged prostate surgery by the well-known urologist Dr. Binayak Sen. Thanks to his meticulous operational acumen, I have been lifted from the state of utter hopelessness to the shore of new-life.
A highly qualified uro-surgeon, Dr. Sen brings in his vast experience extending over two decades while treating his patients. As a surgeon, he is always concerned with the health of his patients and what is more, he keeps himself in touch with them even after operation. Apart from his professional competence which is of a very high order, this human touch, which is so rare amongst the ever-busy present-day physicians, has impressed me the most.
Besides, he possesses the rare flexibility of transcending his own professional ego by letting in his intuitive flair for dealing with a very complicated situation. He does not flinch from taking quick decisions going beyond academic knowledge and common indifference.
Out and out a gentleman, endowed with a sober demeanour, Dr. Sen’s presence has always instilled confidence in my mind while I was in hospital bed. He never showed any displeasure to answer to my numerous questions relating to my disease.
I take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude towards Dr. Sen for the successful operation he has done for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Binayak Sen is highly knowledgeable and Talented Doctor in the field of Urology. He always takes a well planned and methodical approach while curing the ailments related with Urology. As a person he's very humble and always concerned with the health of the patient. Even after discharge from the Hospital he will call the patient and with enquire about his health in a regular frequency. As a doctor he is always approachable any time in a day and we can always contact him even on Sundays or any Holidays. His approach of Treatment is while scientific and he ensures that the patient faces very less problems during pre or post surgery period. He's a very senior and experienced doctor and have wide range of knowledge on all sorts of modern Treatments in Urology. As a patient I am really happy with the way he provides the treatment and his sense of accountability for his patients. I will always recommend him to my networks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We consulted him for my father who was suffering from prostrate related issues. From the very first day, he gave an impression that his condition was not treatable. While he was admitted in Ruby General Hospital under him, one day, he casually walked in when my mother and I were visiting and told my father, " Oh apni akhono beche achen?" As a son, it still rings in my ears. By the way Dr Sen, my father is alive and doing well, no thanks to you ?

Other than being a fabulous doctor, he is a gem of a person when it comes to care for the patient and eye for detail for diagnosis. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If one is looking forward to meet a Urologist, one should definitely think of Dr. Binayak Sen. His chamber is near Southern Avenue, Kolkata. He is quite approachable (even at late hours) and discusses in details. My father was his patient. Personally helped us in getting the surgery done smoothly by co-ordinating with concerned Specialist. Believe me, there was no personal interest of his own. He is knowledgeable, experienced but above all a great human being. Blessed to got his guidance and support.

As a Medical Practitioner he tops the chart thats needless to say. He is actually god to his patients and their family members.
He treats his patients like his own with all the warmth and care and as an add on quality for being a great doctor is listening to the patient very patiently and his gives it best at this. Dr. Binayak Sen made the whole process of investigation and later biopsy of the prostrate so easy and effortlessly. At no point of time, I had slightest of anxiety. Till date he has been constantly attending to my quires and concerns.

He is very approachable and takes the time to explain any medical issues and possible solutions to the patient as well as patient's family members. He is available to take calls at any time and in fact encourages regular contact between himself and the patient even after discharge from the hospital. My father is his patient and had to undergo a highly complex and extended surgical procedure. Dr. Sen was extremely diligent about keeping an eye on any signs of complications and proactive in taking action when needed. He also recommended many specialists for post-op consultations, to ensure all issues are taken care of to the best of available standards. As a patient family member, I really appreciate his sense of accountability for his patients. I would recommend him to anyone who is in need for urological care.
