★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited Dr Ghosh's chamber on a few occasions. Each time I visited his chamber, I was greeted with a warm smile by the doctor. A smile that is so reassuring and that conveys a silent but sure message that nothing will go wrong with your treatment.
On one occasion, when I was supposed to get the 3rd molar on my right lower jaw extracted, I was scared and uncomfortable, beyond description. Although middle aged, I, behaved like a child who shivers with the 'fear of unknown'! Every time the doctor approached a 'finality', I shuddered and revolted, with an unmanageable bout of apprehension. The doctor had to withdraw a number of times. I realized, it was wrong on my part not to allow the doctor to proceed! Finally, after a grueling 45 minutes, the doctor managed to placate my anxiety. Ultimately the mission was accomplished.
Please don't treat this review as a concocted literary piece... this is real.
Most significantly, Dr Ghosh, never lost his cool or his infectious smile, during this hour-long antics of mine.
I have revisited him many a times. My family members too did the same.
I recommend him for his smile, for his care, for his ability to handle you as a human being and not merely as a patient!
He is a brilliant and rare example of a fine human being full of empathy!
