OBJECTIVE OF CAREER ORIENTED COURSES The objective of this career oriented courses is to introduce career and market oriented skill enhancing add on courses that have utility for job, self employment and empowerment of the student with focus on quality and excellence. Keeping this idea in mind, Dr. Jagannath Mishra College, offers the young students of the country, a choice of career oriented courses. So that our local young energetic and having potential to compete with others way get opportunity to enter in the new job market of national and international companies. Dr. Jagannath Mishra College offers three year Honours degree course in Biotechnology, B.B.A. and B.C.A. with UGC sponsored Industrial Microbiology. ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION The candidate must have completed the 10+2 examination in any of the three disciplines: I.Sc(P-C-M or Bio) (Candidates who have appeared at the plus two examination can also apply.) Students having 45% marks in +2 examination are eligible to appear at the entrance test examination. The admission will be strictly on the basis of entrance test to be held by the college. The duration of the test will be 60-120 minutes. The entrance test will have objective type questions. The questions will be based on the +2 syllabus. Students qualifying at the entrance test will have to face the interview board. Admission will be done only after this. Provisional admission is granted for a period of 15 days only. Fee once paid will not by refunded. Those who wish to leave the course after one month of admission will have to pay the fee for the entire course.(i.e. of 3 years). ON JOB TRAINING & ENTREPRENEURSHIP As a part of the study curriculum students have to undergo on the ON Job Training etc in various institutes and industries whose expenses are to be borne by the students. Maths 4 B.B.A. Commerce INDUSTRIAL MICROBIOLOTY Industrial Microbiology is the discipline which uses micro organisms to produce valuable commercial products. In view of the advancement in the area of industrial microbiology influencing energy, food, health-care products and pollution control it is necessary to develop human recourses rapidly. To meet the demand of the skilled human resourses UGC has sponsored TDC in industrial microbiology. Hence the basic objective of the course is to prepare university graduates for employment . JOB POTENTIAL SELF EMPLOYMENT The Courses emphasizes the development of capabilities which will enable candidates to set up their own small enterprises in areas like pharmaceuticals, food production and preservation agriculture mushrrom cultivation and environment protection etc. INDUSTRIAL EMPLOYMENT Students having Hons. Degree may get employment in dairy, pharmaceuticals, chemical and food industries distilleries agriculture and irrigation projects environmental protection agencies para medical research establishments & other Agritech companies PRE-REQUISITE QUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSION 10+2 with 45% marks in Biology, Chemistry& physics The Entrance test : (120 minutes) The admission will be made entirely on the basis of the performance at the entrance test, followed by an interview with the candidates. The test will consist of: Biology - 40 marks Chemistry - 30 marks Physics - 30 marks The questions shall be based on +2 syllabi.

Dr. JM college is the toppest college where student passing result is the higher than those of any other college is in the city. College is well infrastructured and situated near dam of budhi gandak river. College provides Sr. Secondary course as well graduate and post-graduate courses in arts and commerce in least fees. College affiliation is BSEB Patna for Sr. Sec. Course and BRA Bihar university affiliation for graduate and post graduate programme. No regular courses class is held. Good college and well maintained infrastructure......but situated side of the way ......if u want visit here u should walk some distance......

This is one of my favourite college because it is a very strict college and it follows their all rules and regulations. I mean to say that whenever there is any examination held here, this college is used to to work in disciplined and in a well planned manner. Therefore if you want to study here then it should be a best option for you.. Don"t think, just go for it?

The college has Honours teaching in Electronics and L.S.W. (Labour & Social Welfare) also. In addition to the above courses the collage is running career Oriented course in B.C.A., Industrial Microbiology B.B.S. & Biotechnology. Dr. Jagannath Mishra Collage is the only collage in BRA Bihar University where Biotechnology (Hons.) teaching facility is available. This course was sponsored by UGC in 2001. Several students of the course have been selected for M.Sc. Biotechnology in different universal of India Some of them have been selected by different biotech multinational companies. The collage has well equipped laboratory for Micro-Biology, Bio-Chemistry, Cytology, plant tissue culture room with temperature, light and moisture controlling systems. Theories and practical classes are conducted by different teachers who are specialized in the aforesaid subjects. Teacher of reputed universities of India having specialized sill are invited to engage different classes. This is the reason that students of other Universities outside the state. Hostel facilities managed by the collage shall be provided to the outsider. Rooms in girl’s hostel in university campus is allotted to girl students. The collage management is interested to provide placement to the students having honours degree in Biotechnology, Industrial Microbiology B.B.A. & B.C.A. For this placement cell has been constituted. This will organize campus selection by inviting multinational companies

Teacher behavior not good this college

There are my tdc part 1 papers ? (examination)center.. college is very good but 1 problem it located in a out of city. Nearby nothing shops and nothing breakfast place.
