★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With a doctor like her, you’re better off not getting treated; you’ll be worse off from where you started.
The moment i sat down, this doctor looked at me and asked me why I looked sad. Although I was taken aback by the out-of-context question, I chose not to pay too much attention to it. She however kept asking me the same question again and out of nowhere arrived at the conclusion that I suffer from depression. Soon after she started badgering me with irrelevant questions and continued to point out that I am a patient of depression and that I need a psychiatric evaluation. I looked at her in complete disbelief and by this point there were tears in my eyes. Till then, why she wasn’t focused on the reason I came there was beyond my understanding. Finally, after about half an hour of talking about trivial matters, we got to the actual problem that I have, there were a few test reports that I already had gotten done (from Dr. Lal Path Labs) and when I presented them to her, she gave them a cavalier glance and again started talking about irrelevancies - Lal Path Labs is, in her opinion, not reliable. She asked me to get tests done from another lab. In hindsight, I realise that she has a vested interest in the lab she suggested - they pay her a commission for the sales she gets them.
She also insisted that I go see a psychiatrist right away and referred me to one nearby. This psychiatrist and doctor Meeta share the same surname. It’s no surprise that she recommended me to go see a relative.
Her avaricious motives apart, what I found the most bothersome was that she left me feeling completely hopeless. The fact that a patient came to you with good intentions and hope, to seek your guidance and you instead of telling her that you’re unsure if you’ll be able to help her and directing her to a different doctor, left her feeling hopeless, is very telling about the kind of a person you are. You may have knowledge in the field of medicine but unless you show compassion towards those suffering, you’ll never be a good doctor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best thing that could have happened to me since moving to Delhi is: Dr Meeta Sarkar. She is clinically sound. Knows why she is doing what she is doing. Explains everything in details to patients. Ready to answer your doubts... She Is a huge emotional support to her patients.
My experience being her patient has been wonderful. She is a lovely human being, an excellent guide and has a magic touch! She reveals your baby’s heart beat in less than a minute every time you visit her during the pregnancy. And when you deliver, just holding her hand gives you all the confidence and comfort that you need. Whoever is giving a second thought as to whether or not to visit her, please do, and you will know what I am talking about.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Best Gynecologist ever consulted. We went to her when my wife was 32 weeks pregnant and we got to know about a complication from our Color Doppler test. The baby was under weight, AFL was on the lower side, placenta flow was low, chances of a normal delivery was almost out of question, but she did an amazing job and she made normal delivery possible, she was on her toes all the while. She is someone you can count to do the best thing for you.
PS: She is very direct and often misunderstood as rude, but that will only help you in the long run, she will scold you like a mother would

In short i'm very disappointed with her.Please avoid her. I agree with other reviews which say she has an attitude, and uses the clinic for money-grubbing.
In short, she don't know how to treat pregnant women.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been visiting Dr Sarkar for several years now for fibroid management and other issues. I trust her judgement completely. She is always alert to nuances that other doctors might ignore but she doesn't prescribe medicines unless they are necessary. I was sent to Dr Sarkar by a friend many years ago and I have in turn sent many friends who have come back with a good experience too. Please visit her if you need a no-nonsense yet deeply caring doctor who always puts the well being of her patients first and is not driven by desire for monetary gain.
I was travelling for a holiday some years ago when I was diagnosed with a gynaec issue. She prepared me and talked me through what I had to do, the medicines I had to keep handy, saying, we have to make you OK so that you enjoy your trip. No doctor gives so much importance to something just because it means a great deal to you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At the age of 35, delivering a baby amidst this pandemic seemed impossible, but her constant support and guidance made me sail through those tough times. The best thing about her is she never over medicates and doesn't push you for unnecessary investigations. She would always do what is best for the mother and baby. I feel truly blessed to found her, she had been my BIGGEST SUPPORT during pregnancy. It's only because of her I had a normal delivery. She is highly experienced and knowledgeable, just visit her once and you will know you are in safe hands. Thank you Dr. Meeta Sarkaar for giving me the best gift of my life, my son.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I feel so blessed to have her in my life. I have known Dr. Sarkar for past 15 years. She helped me through my pregnancy safely and encouraged & guided me for normal delivery. In the middle of delivery, I had even given up and asked her to do C-section. But she still didnt give up and ensured normal delivery. One can imagine the level of commitment she has.
Best thing about Dr.Sarkar is that she would always listen to her patients and gives all the time required to consult, counsel, educate and answer the queries. It is so difficult to find such experienced, clinically sound and updated doctors in these times.
Never prescribes unncessary procedures, hospitlisation or medications.
She is one of the fewer doctors left in the medical fraternity who still keeps service above self.
