★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had visited Dr. Milan Balakrishnan as my Psychiatrist, as I had Trichotillomania(Hair pulling illness) and Generalised Anxiety disorder, I think that he's one of the best Psychiatrist as well as a Psychotherapist in Mumbai. And I would refer him to anyone out there who has a mental illness and definitely to visit Dr. Milan Balakrishnan as a psychiatrist and a psychotherapist. For my treatment he has done the best he could and I have also now 80 to 90% stopped pulling my hair and the credit all goes to Dr. Milan Balakrishnan. Thank You So much Dr. Milan for cooperating with me and treating my illness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Milan Balakrishnan is one of the few psychiatrists in India who is trying to change the perception of the people about mental fitness - that one visits a psychiatrist only when one is mentally ill.
His efforts in doing so are commendable.I have been personally following his articles over the web and his ideologies and command over human psychiatry are crystal clear. I have been lucky enough to attend one of his several public sessions which have been thought provoking and knowledgeable.He is all ears towards your problems and hears out everything that one has to share with him.I would sincerely recommend Dr.Milan to anyone and everyone who is in need of any kind of assistance - be it even a stress relieving session.

His approach to his patients is very friendly and he understands what you are trying to say and the amazing part is you need not speak much to him he understands everything with few points. I would request people who suffer from depression, anxiety or any psychological problem open up never hide leave the social stigma, people are not going to come and treat you and feed you for your life. Take a step go to the doctor I assure it will help you. I would strongly recommend doctor Milan Balakrishna for this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife started treatment with doctor 2 months back. He is not at all talkative. Not available . Even after seating idol not giving appointment to patients. My wife is asking him for appointment from last two weeks his assistant said he is not feeling well on bedrest . And I found he is visiting clinic. Don't consult him if you are suffering he will make you suffer more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Milan Balakrishna has been a huge blessing for us. My 63 year old deaf & mute uncle is suffering from bipolar disorder since the past 2 decades. Earlier, we used to take medication from another senior psychiatrist from Masina (he is no longer with Masina now). But after couple of years we faced severe side effects and my uncle got seriously ill. He even had to get admitted to the ICU. Once he recovered, we started looking for another doctor. We tried several other doctors' medication but looking at my uncle's age and recent history of side effects, no-one was able to help us much. Consequently, uncle's aggression & violence also increased day by day.
This is when we came to know about Dr Milan Balakrishna. By the grace of Almighty, with couple of session with my uncle he designed a very balanced medication for him. Now my deaf and mute uncle is totally independent & cooperative since 4 years! Unlike earlier, we don't require any 24x7 caretaker for him. He is doing all his day to day activities very well on his own. Also he is taking medicines willingly and regularly. May God bless Dr Balakrishna for his excellent counseling and treatment. He has been successful handling our case since 4 years now without any issues. He is truly a gem of a doctor.
