This quotation is somehow proven to be wrong under your supervision my dear doctor, happiness is everywhere,it is inside our bosoms... problems in our lives are just to provide a lesson that we should consistently work hard...with a never say die attitude..
In this 2020 pandemic phase I was so upset because of career related problems, when I met with my fantastic doctor, the first thing I would like to share here is visiting to a psychiatrist does not mean that one has gone mad or insane, in this internet world, when we are bound to sustain under the vicious circle of powerful radiations...
. having any sort of psychiatric problem is not a matter of surprise.Brain is also an organ of our body, it sometimes behaves differently as like in my case when I had only single one sleepness night.
The very next day my husband took me to Dr.Pankaj Verma..he not only cured me with only few medicines but he prescribed those medicines which are very much easily available all over the country...specially in Generic form..
He during the pandemic keeps an eye on all of his patients by instructing them through online mode. His way of supervision is just amazing..Today only I visited to him.. medicinal course is now about to be over..
Energetic, positive, and optimistic are the words that can define me now..
It is all because of you my dear doctor, very calm, decent and the way in which my doctor uses to talk to a woman...,the respect..the comfort zone which he develops among his patients to utter out all their problems is just amazing...
On this Diwali of 2020 ,I humbly request to my doctor to please be the same as you are doctor...
Our country needs fanatic doctors like you..
And yes at this moment still my cheeks are chuckling, the moment was gone when I was disappointed, upset...
Completely recovered from anxiety and tearful and fearful life...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First motive and purpose to visit Psychatry Department of Safdarjung Hospital was to obtain medical certificate on the mental state of the patient shri G.S.Ramachandran, my brother-in-law in order to submit it in the court of law for succesion certificate of the property left by his parent. The reason was to avoid serpentine queue and long waiting at the hospital. The patient had not taken any medication so far though he has been suffering for long.
The visit to Dr Pankaj Kumar however made a big difference in me. After the initial testing by the junior residents, Dr Pankaj prescribed the medicine for a month and handed out his whatsapp number for any issues. It was surprising to know about the concern the doctor showed for the patient, especially from a Government doctor. Going out of the way to reach out to the patient is not the norm in Government Hospitals. It has been two months now since the treatment started. The patient had experienced nausea and when reported. Dr Pankaj advised to review the sugar medicines taken by the patient with the endocrinologist. The trick worked when the medicines were reviewed. Dr Pankaj then sent me pamphlets through whatsap to circulate and help out other mentally deficient patients.
It is no wonder his medicines are showing positive results. The empathy shown by Dr Pankaj and the enthusiasm for the job he does truly makes a promising professional in the making. The society needs more such Pankajs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I consulted him as my aunt was suffering from resistant depression and had consulted many psychiatrists in corporate hospitals and my friend suggested me to consult Dr. Pankaj Kumar, I was amazed to see how much time he spent with us diagnosing the various aspects of problem and carefully reviewed all past documents and also discussed the case with team members and then explained the cause, course and duration of treatment in very simple language. When I checked his credentials I found out that he has been trained (MD Psychiatry) from the most prestigious government institute of India for neurosciences i.e. NIMHANS, BANGALORE which is institute of national importance. My aunt is better than before and getting better each passing week and that is because doctor was able to identify resistant nature of depression and individualize the treatment accordingly.Dr. Pankaj also told us to be patient with treatment and not expect any magical improvement. I have seen that many a psychiatrists just write medicines and doesn't explain much but this was refreshingly new for me to see a doctor spending this much time in busy OPD. For me he is the best psychiatrist I have met in Delhi and believe me I have visited many.
