★ ★ ★ ★ ★ He is not a doctor. Take my word and validate if you are still interested. I visited for fissure problem, the guy didn't even checked the pulse (nadi), from far he just had a look. He told that it will burst in 3 days (was already swollen)... He said it is not fissure but fistula (without diagnosis!)... when my previous doctor's written report was that it is a fissure...this guy charged me RS.1000 for this!!! He is not a human. He does have any sympathy for patients. Those who rated him better are either his close people or don't understand what a treatment means.

My husband went to Pune for 6 weeks and came back completely cured. After 6 months of abject pain and misery (and the prospect of incontinence or life long pain), He received almost painless non surgical treatment in Pune which was extremely effective. It's unbelievable that more people don't know about this option to treat such a difficult and uncomfortable condition ayurvedically with - so far - zero side effects or surgery

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like others i also visited lot of doctors & suffered for one & half years then i came to know about Kharsutra treatment by Dr. Prasad Bapat.
I got kharsutra treatment for pilonidal sinus at OM ayurveda pune in 2013. My problem was at initial stage. Treatment took 4 weeks. I visited once in a week. Treatment was successful and till date there is no recurrence.
You may check this treatment if suitable. Government of India also has kharsutra treatment facility at BHU Banaras Uttar Pradesh.
Kshara sutra is basicly thread coated with Kshar (Alkali) ayurvedic substance.
In this treatment this thread is tied from one end to other end of pilonidal sinus without any surgery and thread is changed on weekly basis. It removes infected germs & heal the wound.
I even continued my job during treatment.

I feel Dr Prasad Bapat is a person having all these traits. I underwent the Ksharsutra treatment at Dr Bapat's clinic. He is so experienced and confident that there is no room for doubt about the treatment and recovery. He not only gives you the best treatment for the disease but also his encouraging and soothing words help you heal faster and go through the treatment with a positive approach. He has a very straightforward approach and tells you about the pros and cons if any of the treatment leaving you with complete clarity. He is really patient and answers all your questions.
In today's world where doctors are losing their ethics and morals and are just money minded, Dr Prasad Bapat maintains high level of ethical standards that are so very necessary for this profession. There is no room for wrong guidance or wrong treatment at this clinic of Dr Prasad Bapat. I would definitely recommend his treatment to all who are in need for the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience with Dr.Bapat. I had a fistula for 5 years with 4 setons that was being tested by doctors in America. They said there was no solution and that I would have to live with the setons my whole life or get a colostomy bag. I eventually decided to go to India to see Dr. Bapat. He checked everything and explained what was going on and gave me a solution on the first day. He helped me step by step during the process and was very encouraging and inspirational. Very friendly and caring. My family and I are all very thankful for his services.

The utmost care I have received from his hand enabled me with speedy recovery from my problem. I thought it is important to pen it down to express my appreciation and gratitude.
I was suffering with Fistula over past 2 years ,(did 2 allopathy surgery) and I have met many other doctors for treatment which did not help me at all. After a complete research and through cured patients reference I identified this doctor and approached him for help upon showing my case history. He has an eagle eye in diagnosing the root cause and treat to it with utmost care. He suggested the best possible method of KSHARSUTRA Ayurvdeic treatment which was less painful and less blood loss method . He also prepared me mentally upon explaining the surgery procedure and boosted up my confident level to stay fit throughout the surgery phase. His confident made me stronger enough to fight against this problem though the issue was deep rooted. He had also put me on 2 months diet to cure completely. This treatment took just 2 days rest at home.
I was also assured that there will no re-occurance of Fistula once again. It was a beautiful experience to avail this Ayurvedic treatment and fast recovery under his able care and guidance. His personal attachment with the ailing patient, his devotion to his duty as a doctor and commitment to his profession adhering best medical ethics is commendable and praise worthy.
