Short story of ours amidst COVID-19.
I am writing this on behalf of my mother who is a cancer survivor.
Life is tough and challenging we all know, but with COVID-19 it added fuel to the fire.
She was undergoing her cancer treatment at a government hospital when due to COVID-19 there was a complete lockdown. She had to get operated immediately for the cancer and so we approached Dr. Rajeev Kapoor at Fortis hospital, Mohali in April 2020.The surgery went well. After five days she was discharged. We went home happily. After few days she had some episodes of vomit . She was hospitalised in May 2020 in the ICU under Dr. Kapoor. Her health deteriorated she could hardly get up but with the support and skills of Dr. Kapoor and his dedicated team ,she stood up again after staying for one complete month in the hospital.
This wasn’t enough. Few months later in September 2020 we were far away from Mohali at a small hill station. She was sick again. She needed immediate hospitalisation, we went to a local hospital but they send us back saying it’s a COVID centre now. I requested and pleaded many doctors to help us but no one gave a hand. The only hope we received was from Dr. Kapoor and his team who guided and supported us . He and his team took personal interest for the patient and were watchful on the situation. she was shifted to Mohali and was treated successfully under his guidance and care.

As it is rightly said “ tough times never last but tough people do” Dr Rajeev Kapoor has lead us to believe in this .
This success story still continues but was never possible without the support of an astounding human being....Dr. RAJEEV KAPOOR.
I strongly recommend him as an efficient and skilful doctor.
I and my family wish him all the very best of life with success in leaps and bounds.

Three names of cancer department no one forgets to take at every function dat is Dr Rajeev Kapoor, Dr Rajeev bedi n Dr. Arunjeet arunjit n sister Harman. Any function or sarthak day none of the patients forget to take these names. I got extended family after cancer. I can never imagine even dat such doctors do exist on this earth but I m so lucky dat they treated me. Gone 4 years I entered oncology department n till today being loved n I never felt dat it's hospital.
