★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before the partition in 1947, Ambala had the religious harmony. Muslims, Hindus & Christians are live together generations to generations and spoke the same language, ate same foods & enjoyed each other religious festival suddenly & violently split two parts. Before the partition The Health Pharmacy situated in this building. Dr. Syed Hamid Ali owned the pharmacy. He was the govt. registered physician & surgeon. It was a two stored building, pharmacy was in the ground floor & he lived with his family members in the 1st floor. During the partition his family pulled away and left for Pakistan & never back again. In 2017 Mr. Asad son of Syed Hamid Ali visited his birth place, Ambala with his grandson Mr. Samir. During partition the age of Mr. Asad was only 5. Mr. Asad get emotional & burst into tears when see his birthplace after 70 years.
