★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Sinukumar Bhaskaran is the best Orthopedic Surgeon I have come across. He did a knee replacement surgery for my Mother in 2018 and since then we always go to him for any orthopedic issues.
Dr Bhaskaran is knowledgeable, professional, and appears to be highly regarded by the patients and staff at Columbia Asia. In spite of that, he is humble, approachable, and takes time to make the patient feel comfortable and understand the issue. A rare combination of traits!
He takes the time to answer our innumerable questions. The consultations are not rushed. He offers practical solutions for the issue and discusses pros and cons of the options to help us decide. He and his team take care to coordinate all the pre- and post-surgery procedures and makes sure that we understand every step.
His team, especially Dr Swapnil Kadam, has been extremely helpful during my Mother’s surgeries. They coordinate the diagnostic tests and treatments keeping in mind the patient’s age and other medical restrictions. Dr Kadam is also very knowledgeable and approachable and always available to answer our queries.
Given their medical expertise and the level of care for their patients we could trust them with performing another joint surgery on my Mother even during the pandemic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Sinukumar is not a new name to me when I decided to go for ACL repair surgery for my left knee. That's why I decided to write a bit in details about my experiences with him.
First time I came in contact with him when my wife took my father for treatment of acute joint pains.
My father was already on treatment but was not getting relief from his pain. Dr. Sinukumar's keen observation and appropriate diagnosis leads to identification of the root cause of the issue which got treated after following up with right specialist.
He also treated my son Zaid for wrist fracture, another soothing & positive story to add here. Zaid, 8 years at that time, was very scared and it was difficult to handle him for the treatment. Due to doctor's friendly behavior with him it became easier for me to handle my son for the treatment.
The major incident which further strengthens and build my trust in him when we consulted him for my mother-in-law's severe Knee joints pain. He performed Total Knee Replacement (TKR) surgery. The surgery went smooth and so was the post-surgery recovery. She now walk with confidence without limping.
And now about the recent surgery he performed on me for ACL tear repairing. I got my Knee injured during playing and was not able to walk properly after the injury. After diagnosis he suggested ACL tear repair surgery and we decided to go ahead with it. Like earlier experience, touchwood, this too went smooth and I am on my path of complete recovery. I have started walking without limping and also using the stairs normally. Hoping to start running soon :)
I had wonderful experiences with Dr. Sinukumar, he is extremely good in his field but what makes difference to me is the care for a patient as a person with outstanding medical care qualities.
I would like to thank Dr. Sinukumar and his wonderful team, especially Dr. Swapnil for all the care they extended for years towards wellbeing of my family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Way back in 2017, my Mum had major issues with movement. Dr Sinu did a Total Knee Replacement with such ease that my Mum could walk from the 3rd day of surgery. Fast track to 15 more days, she could do almost everything on her own and then in 2 months time, we couldn't even sense that she had gone under the knife. Thank you doctor for all your follow consultations and boosting the patient to live a normal life yet again. Very rarely we come across such humble down to earth and kind hearted soul. Our good wishes are always with him.

Also, the post operative follow-up was very smooth and hassle free, considering COVID restrictions all around. He is also very cordial to speak even while calling during odd hours or clarifying doubts at appointments. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother had osteoarthritis in both the knees since 10 years but she was reluctant to go through the Knee Replacement Surgery, inspite of bearing lot of pain. But once she met Dr Sinukumar, she happily went into Operation Theatre within a week.
Now she stand tall with us, she is pain free and started recommending other relatives to get surgery done.
