Dr Sujoy Dasgupta - Kolkata

Dr Dasgupta was a miracle to me. He scolded me when I didn't take medicine, he supported me when I felt frustrated, he arranged for emergency hospital admission when I needed. Because of his treatment, we are now enjoying our parenthood to the fullest. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Sujoy Dasgupta is next to God for us. when we are helpless for a baby,then he help us to overcome the critical situation with his magical treatment. He also motivate us to think positive. Dr Sujoy Dasgupta has delivered our Baby Girl last week and we are forever indebted to him for this. We consulted him for a second opinion as we had two early mishaps for no known reasons and he gave all possible support to the future pregnancy for it's viability. He is very young and talented and hardworking and have very much up to date knowlede of latest advanced medical science. He as a doctor encourage and scold patients whenever needed. He tries his best to give patients as much service and replies to WhatsApp chat as patients are always very nervous and scared . More to this through this message I wish everyone visiting him for treatment best of luck ... Although we didn't need one but I have seen many people undergone successful IVF even with twin babies. Wish everyone a beautiful parent hood.

I had visited Dr Sujoy Dasgupta after reading such good reviews about him online. Expected a very patient, understanding, compassionate and competent doctor who will finally be able to help me. When I visited him I got exactly the opposite. He was unbelievably rude, impatient and dismissive. I have never met another doctor as ridiculous as him. I can not speak about his competence as I never returned. He was very insulting and acted like he was giving his time to me for free. He was extremely aggressive and constantly kept insulting and ridiculing me. His behaviour definately was psychotic. I hope he learns to become a better/ sane human first before claiming to be a good doctor. My time and money is as valuable as his, if not more. If he has no time to listen to his patient then he should not take on so many appointments at once just to make money. I am almost inclined to think most of the reviews are paid or made up by his own staff. What a disappointment!

Thank you doctor. Thank you so much for guiding us in such a wonderful and methodical way throughout the pregnancy. It's bcoz of ur advice that we are blessed with a bundle of joy with our little angel. I still remember the first day when we showed him the pregnancy blood report ( which was positive with good HCG count). He smiled and congratulated me and said that it's just 1 month and we have to fight and run 9 more months. Gradually the pregnancy started. We sincerely visited and consulted him and my wife took medicines throughout the pregnancy as per Dr Sujoy Dasgupta 's guidance. There are some complications that he handled carefully and brilliantly. He always discussed the pros and cons of every process including every single medicine. He adviced us to do all the pregnancy USGs from a reputed Fetal Medicine Specialist (Dr Kanchan Mukherjee) as he told us that it's not wise to rely on such a delicate matter on any anonymous doctor. We trusted him and did all the USGs as per his advice. He was absolutely right. While seeing any medical reports (like USG or blood test) he only points out signal of worries when it was absolutely necessary. Otherwise he just says 'nothing to worry about this'. For an would be parents, this feeling is something unexplainable. I have seen many persons who reviewed him by saying that 'he talks less' 'he talks rudely' 'he doesn't give you time' are absolutely irrelevant and false allegations against him. Surely he gives time to explain things. He doesn't talk rudely at all. If any patient constantly irritates him for no reason then he will definitely loose his control. May be he is a brilliant doctor but at the same time he is a human being also. One more thing that needs special mention is his connectivity skill. He always attended our call for less important reasons also throughout the whole day. Even attended and replied to whatsapp for small reasons also. Maximum within 15 minutes he replied back our query (if not engaged with any other serious case). Throughout 10 months he guided us in such a beautiful way that we felt secured from every angle.He never suggest any unnecessary tests. Only recommended those which are absolutely necessary. He always tried to provide his support by sharing the contacts of expensive medicines and injections in order to provide some benefit to the patients. This is something worth mentioning. Thank you once again doctor. After the last USG growth scan at 36 weeks he said that baby has reached its maturity and it's time to deliver the baby otherwise situation may worsen. Accordingly he made necessary arrangements to book the hospital that we wished for. He didn't forced anything on us. Just explained us the pros and cons of all hospitals, what's most needed in a hospital for delivery and so on. We decided for RSV Hospital and finally we got to see out little angel on 15th of March 2022. We have no words to thank you doctor and your team of anesthist and paediatrician. I wish and suggest all the parents should consider going under the guidance of Dr Sujoy Dasgupta for obtaining the most heavenly feeling of the world. Apart from being academically extra talented, he is practically a great doctor with knowledge of all the latest technologies so far as my experience is concerned. In one word he is completely an up to date doctor. He is definitely recommend for everyone. Thank you so much sir. Dr Sujoy Dasgupta is a very brilliant doctor and his treatment method is very much up to date. We first consulted him during our first pregnancy with recurring urine infection. Though our first pregnancy was not successful but we were so impressed with his unique style of treatment immediately after D&C we consulted him. He explained all the things about miscarriage and after few months natural pregnancy came . Moreover, due to distance from Kolkata we almost all the consultations done through online upto 7 months of pregnancy. One thing is that during pregnancy various complications came and we send all the queries through what's app and he certainly answered. Thank you sir

He is the new face of modern Gynecology and Obstetrics in Kolkata and follows all the recent guidelines and provides state of the art treatment.
