★ ★ ★ ★ ★ His receptionist is totally unprofessional and rude. For a 5.30 appointment they made me wait till 7pm. Also the doctor took 500 for just 1 question to answer and recommend to another doctor.
You'd rather go a place where they treat you with respect and care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Vageesh doesn't need another review but he's honestly been the most supportive, caring and considerate doctor I could have asked for. Specially when one has just been handed over worrying diagnosis and is on the lookout for a doctor who will actually help, long term, and is not just looking to make a buck.
Dr. Vageesh, is patient in explaining what's happening within, he will hear you out and give you solutions that help, which doesn't only involve medication. I'm so grateful I found him.
To anyone out there, looking for an endocrinologist and has worries about any of the metabolism syndrome problems, Dr. Vageesh is mostly definitely the one who will help you through it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is mainly for the lady who handles appointments for Dr. Vagheesh. She is either his mum or spouse and is a tough nut to crack. Dr. Vagheesh is good. No doubt about that. But, it is extremely difficult and trying of one's patience to get through the lady who fixes his schedule. She is rude, rigid and unreasonable. A sincere request to Dr Vagheesh is to hire some professional help to handle front office and spare patients the wrath of your ill mannered staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm calling them to take appointment from two days ......and she is not responding in a proper manner.......she should give whenever the slot is free ....always she tells ...y r u calling so late ...call tomorrow call tomorrow.....I told I'm ok with any day... taking appointment is for slot if they r not doing that properly I don't know

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1. Getting an appointment is difficult.
2. The lady who schedules meetings will give appointments that suit her schedule management rather than patient's convenience. Our request for 6.30pm slot was noted as 6pm in diary. Despite reaching at 6.30. we got to meet the Dr finally at 8pm. Futile to take an appointment in the first place.
3. The expectation from a Dr who practices at St. Johns is that they are exceptionally good considering the volume and diversity of cases they handle in that hospital. Dr. Vagheesh is all of that. Very knowledgeable. But, he does not spend adequate time with each patient. Just browses through reports in a hurry and lists out meds. He might know everything. But it is important to explain the how, what and why to the patient as well. Sincerely wish the Dr does justice to the relatively high fee he charges.
