★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We trust Dr. Vishal Shinde with the healthcare decisions of our family. He advises with clarity such that we always know where we stand. For the last over 15 years we have consulted him for orthopaedic and sometimes even other difficult medical decisions. My father, me, extended family... We all consult him.
In 2019 my 10 year old niece was writhing in pain with redness in her thigh. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, and the fact that the child would need someone by her side, we took her to a local nursing home in New Mumbai. Dr. Shinde was kind enough to speak to the local doctor and discussed the line of treatment with him. The surgery was done on an urgent basis and she was discharged in 2 days. But the pain came back with fever, swelling. The child couldn't walk and the case got complicated. My sister was horrified.
That’s when I decided no matter how inconvenient it is to travel from New Mumbai to Masina and with covid no relative would let you stay at their house I told my sister to take her to Dr Shinde.
He immediately took charge of the little girl who could otherwise have suffered some loss of movement ability. Under his care proper diagnosis was done. He operated on her leg and cleaned all the traces that were left from the previous surgery. She healed quickly after. He guided us to a proper medical team for her further treatments and now she is perfectly fine. All this was done with minimal cost taking into consideration her parents situation and what they had already wasted in her previous treatments.
Dr. Shinde is an excellent surgeon and not only does he have a smooth prep, surgery and follow-ups but is also lovely to speak to. It’s rare to find a doctor like him in today's corporatised medical world.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have known Dr Vishal for more than a decade now. The 1st time was when he performed a surgery on my 9 yr old daughter's fractured arm. He exhibited a lot of patience and compassion while dealing with a terrified child who refused to go for surgery. These traits are seldom seen in doctors. Ever since then my family members and I have visited him for any orthopaedic related concerns and his diagnosis is spot on and majority of the times without further investigations.
My family not only trusts him for his line of expertise but also for any other doctor recommendations when ever we need any.

Dr Vishal has never unnecessary made us do scans or reports and has a very acute clinical judgement .
He will go out of his way to help you.I clearly remember when my son had gone on a trip and fallen with an elbow and a shoulder injury , Dr Vishal had waited till late in the night at his clinic to see him and treat him.
Dr Vishal is our first point of contact for any medical related query and we trust him completely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our experience with Dr.Vishal was great. He treated my mother for her spine issue. She was also diagnosed with neurofibroma which required surgery. Initially she was very reluctant and terrified with the idea of undergoing a surgery. But thanks to Dr.Vishal, he not only assured and comforted her at each step, but also made sure that she and us as family were well informed throughout the process. He followed up regularly for a long time even after her recovery. I am extremely grateful to him and highly recommend him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mom's hip replacement surgery was done by Dr. Vishal. My mother is nervous about any surgeries and hospitalization, Dr. Vishal was very personable and comforted my mom, which is very rare to see with doctors as they rarely have time to mollycoddle patients.
My mom is on her way to a complete recovery and it's in no small part thanks for Dr. Vishal, the surgery was successful and he has been following up through rehab, pushing my mom enough so that she builds self confidence and walks on her own.
I highly recommend him and am thankful to him and his staff.

Along with Dr. Vacha and Dr. Sania they form a great team working on some really difficult surgeries and complexities. I have been treated by him and also my mother in law who has undergone two major surgeries by him. I am glad to have been under his care.
