This building is the auditorium, a massive structure, beautifully crafted like an opera house that could easily house more than 700 persons. It is equipped with air-conditioning, lights fans, spot lights, focus lights, modern stage lightings, reclining seats, surround sound system and adequate fire and safety systems This is where almost all the programs of YSP are held and it will surely leave an impression on the guests who attend them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The College of Horticulture came into existence with the establishment of Dr Y S Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry on December 1, 1985, but it has its origin in the erstwhile Himachal Agriculture College and Research Institute, Solan established in 1962, with affiliation to the Punjab University, Chandigarh.
The teaching programme in the college evolved gradually from annual to trimester and then to semester system. At present, the college follows the course credit system of education under semester system.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Till now the university result I have done was the most beautiful university, here there is every facility for the student which he needs, the playground here is also very beautiful and good too.The medical facility is also good for the students here and the Potato Research Institute which comes under it has the world's largest second largest library.
