Nice to visit this old temple constructed with stone. This is beautiful structure of compound wall, the main temple structured in two stories. The lord Shiva murthy in this temple is very high from ground floor to first floor, so the first floor we can see the end of the statue. Large spacious garden aroun the temple. Pillers hall is also mounted in one corner. Free Shiva ప్రసాదం also available here. If it is proper maintained this temple is just like a square structured Madhura meenakshi temple. Outside compound wall so many sides looks like a dump yard.

U can find peace here, very good atmosphere, temple have many historical things and values.

The temple premises were clean, the pooja was done with pious attitude. Serene area, I must say. PS: Don't even think of reaching the temple during Mondays, poornima, and on maasa shivaratri, it's crowded than you can imagine. Kartika masam, will barely leave you any Lord shiva temple empty. Manikyamba is 6th Shakti peetham out of 18th (left cheek part) and she seems sooooo cute!!! True! The murthi feelsxloke a small girl and she's adorable. Lord shiva one among the Pancharama kshetras(Bhemeshwar) is two stories tall. He looks dazzling.

Daksharama is one of the five Pancharama Kshetras that are sacred to the Hindu god Siva. Daksharama is considered to be the place where Daksha Yagnam happened. Lord Siva sanctified the place after the rampage and carnage carried out at the place by Lord Veerabhadra. Due to this tale, Daksharama is also known as Dakshina Kaasi (Varanasi of the South).

(అమరారామం, ద్రాక్షారామం, కుమారారామం, సోమారామం, క్షీరారామం) దివ్య క్షేత్రాలుగా ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ రాష్ట్రంలో వర్ధిల్లుతున్నాయి. వీటిని స్వయంభూ క్షేత్రాలని, దేవతా నిర్మిత క్షేత్రాలని, ఋషి కల్పితమైన క్షేత్రాలని, మానవ ప్రతిష్టితమైన క్షేత్రాలని నాలుగు విధాలుగా విభజించారు. పంచారామ క్షేత్ర దర్శనం భక్తి, ముక్తి ప్రదమైనదని చెబుతారు. పంచారామాలలో మొదటిది ‘అమరారామం’. ఇది అమరావతిలో నిర్మితమైంది. ఇక్కడ అమరేశ్వర స్వామి కొలువై ఉన్నారు. ఈ క్షేత్రం దేవరాజైన ఇంద్రుని ప్రతిష్ఠను తెలుపుతుంది. ఇక్కడ స్వామి ముఖం ‘అఘోర’ రూపంలో ఉంటుంది. అమ్మవారు ‘బాల చాముండేశ్వరి’. ఆమె శాంతి స్వరూపురాలిగా ఇక్కడ కొలవై ఉన్నారు. రెండోది ‘ద్రాక్షారామం’. ఈ క్షేత్రం తూర్పు గోదావరి జిల్లాలో ఉంది. ఇక్కడ భక్తులు శివుణ్ణి భీమేశ్వరుడిగా కొలుస్తున్నారు. అమ్మవారు మాణిక్యాంబ. మూడోది ‘కుమారారామం’. ఈ క్షేత్రం సామర్లకోటలో ఉంది. ఇక్కడ శివుణ్ణి సత్య సుందర స్వరూపంలో కుమారస్వామి ప్రతిష్టించాడు. అమ్మవారు బాలా త్రిపుర సుందరిగా వాసికెక్కారు. నాలుగో ఆరామం ‘సోమారామం’. ఈ క్షేత్రం పశ్చిమగోదావరి జిల్లా గునుపుండి (భీమవరం) లో ఉంది. ఇక్కడ శివుడు సోమేశ్వరుడిగా నిత్య పూజ లందుకుంటున్నాడు. ఇక్కడ శివపత్ని పార్వతీదేవిని భక్తులు నిత్య నూతనంగా కొలుస్తున్నారు. చంద్ర ప్రతిష్ఠితమైన శైవక్షేత్రం ఇది. ఐదో ఆరామం ‘క్షీరారామం’ (పాలకొల్లు). ఇక్కడ కొలువైన స్వామి రామలింగేశ్వరుడు. అమ్మ పార్వతీ మాత. పశ్చిమ గోదావరి జిల్లాలో ప్రతిష్టితమై ఈశాన్య ముఖుడిగా లోకమంతా తానే అయి విలసిల్లుతున్నాడు. పంచారామాలన్ని ఒకే రోజులో సందర్శించాలను కుంటే అమరావతితో ప్రారంభించి భీమవరం, పాలకొల్లు, సామర్లకోట, ద్రాక్షారామాలను క్రమంగా దర్శించుకోవలసి ఉంటుంది. ఈ క్షేత్రాలు దర్శిస్తే సర్వ పాపాలు నశిస్తాయని, అఖండ ఫలితంతో పాటు, కాశీ క్షేత్ర దర్శనం వలన కలిగే పుణ్యం కూడా లభిస్తుందని పెద్దలంటారు. 2. ??పంచారామ క్షేత్రం:-ద్రాక్షారామం?? ??శ్రీ భీమేశ్వరుడు.?? ద్రాక్షారామము - తూర్పుగోదావరి జిల్లాలో, కాకినాడకు ముఫ్పై కిలోమీటర్ల దూరంలో రామచంద్రాపురంలో ద్రాక్షారామ క్షేత్రం ఉంది.ఇచ్చట స్వామివారు భీమేశ్వరుడు, అమ్మ వారు మాణిక్యాంబ..క్షేత్రపాలకులు లక్ష్మీనారాయణులు శివాలయంతో పాటు విష్ణ్వాలయం, శక్తి పీఠం ఉన్న దివ్య క్షేత్రం దక్షారామము. దక్షప్రజాపతి ఇచ్చట యజ్ఞం చేసాడని ప్రసిధ్ది . తారకుని సంహారానంతరం శివలింగ భాగం ఇక్కడ పడి ఉందని తెలుసుకున్న సప్తర్షులు సప్తగోదావరి తీర్థంలో సుప్రభాత సమయంలో భీమేశ్వరునికి అభిషేకం చేయాలకున్నారు. మార్గమధ్యమంలో తుల్యఋషి యజ్ఞం చేస్తున్నాడు. ఋుషులు తెస్తున్న గోదావరులు తన యజ్ఞాన్ని ముంచేస్తాయని ఋుషులను గోదావరులను వారించాడు. వాదోపవాదాల మధ్య తెల్లవారిపోయింది. సూర్యభగవానుడు శివలింగానికి ప్రధమ సుప్రభాత అభిషేకం చేశాడు. నిరాశ చెందిన ఋుషులను వేదవ్యాసుడు ఓదార్చి తాను సప్తగోదావరులను పుష్కరిణితో చేర్చానాని అది సప్తగోదావరి గా పిలువబడుతుందని, ఈ తీర్థంలోనే స్వామికి నిత్యాభిషేకం జరుగుతుందని చెప్పాడు. నాలుగు ప్రవేశ ద్వారాలతో ఆలయ బాహ్యప్రాకారం ఎత్తైన రాజగోపురాలతో నిర్మితమైంది. బాహ్యప్రాకారంలో కాలభైరవాలయం, త్రికూటాలయం ఉన్నాయి. ధ్వజ స్ధంభం ముందు రావి వేప వృక్షాలు ఉన్నాయి. ఆ చెట్లనీడలో శివలింగం, విష్ణు విగ్రహం ఉన్నాయి. రెంటినీ శంకరనారాయణ స్వాములని పిలుస్తారు.స్వామి లింగాకారం 60 అడుగులు ఎత్తులో ఉంటుంది. పైఅంతస్తు నుండి పూజలు నిర్వహించాలి.ఈ ఆలయం ప్రత్యేకత ఏమిటంటే ఇక్కడి లింగాకారం సగం భాగం తెలుపు సగభాగం నలుపుతో ఉంటుంది. భీమేశ్వర లింగం 2.5 మీటర్ల ఎత్తులో నలుపు తెలుపు రంగులో ఉంటుంది. ఆలయం రెండో అంతస్తులో ఉందు. అభిషేకాదులు పై అంతస్తులో లింగ భాగానికి చేస్తారు.ఈ ఆలయం తూర్పు చాళుక్యుల కాలంలో 892-922 మధ్య నిర్మితమైంది. ఆలయ స్థంభాలపై, గోడలపై 800 పైగా శాసనాలు ఉన్నాయి. ఇక్కడ దక్షప్రజాపతి యజ్ఞం నిర్వహించాడు. కనుక ఈ ప్రాంతానికి దాక్షారామము అని పేరు వచ్చిందంటారు. ఈ ఆలయం చాళుక్యరాజయిన భీముడు నిర్మించాడని తెలుస్తుంది.అనేక పురాణాల్లో ఈ ఆలయం గురించి ప్రస్తావన ఉంది. పూర్వకాలంలో ఎంతోమంది దేవతలు,రాజులు స్వామి వారిని దర్శించి తరించారని తన భీమేశ్వర పురాణంలో రాసాడు.ఈ ఆలయంలో శిల్పకళ అద్భుతంగా ఉంటుంది.ఇక్కడ మహాశివరాత్రి పర్వదినం కన్నుల పండుగగా నిర్వహిస్తారు. వీటిని భక్తులందరూ తప్పకుండా తెలుసుకోవాలి.

Loved the place. Peaceful and fully clean. Covid protocols are followed. Annadhan prasad is food tasted so good. All other arrangements are well managed. Each priest will explain you about the importance and speciality of Draksharama. Koneru is currently closed due to covid
