Dudhani Lake - Silvassa

The place is beautiful and has an amazing view from the road before you go down to the lake you can take a few minutes to just check it, it's really breathtaking. The road to the dock near the lake is a steep road as you are going down for a hill. The dock has different boats which varies in price depending on which you want. Also one point I would like to tell is for my friends who are non-vegetarians is that there are stalls there where we got a really nice and tasty chicken starter we had to tell them in advance and they prepared it for us when we were on the boat ride.

This is quite calm place to enjoy nature. Approximately 70 km from Silvassa. One can book a hand rowing boat and float in the lake. Sunset views are awesome. Boat charge is 400 INR for 30min and 600 INR for 60 min. You can extend boating time with some extra payment. Small hand rowing boats are similar to sikara of Kashmir. Lake is clean .Ideal time for boating is afternoon. Small cafeteria is there near the jetty for refreshments. Must visit place if you are in Silvassa.

A very natural place . Best place for one day picnic. Also a family place. The road to dudhani lake is best for road trip . It feels like driving between hills. There is boating activity also, which cost 100 rs per person for 30 minutes. There is no good hotel for food, so if you are planning for full day, better you bring food with you also. Apart from this lake, there are many small small natural places you could visit on your own.

You can explore your one day picnic with family. Have a greatbexperience of boating. Best time to visit in monsoon ( July to September) and in winter (October to February)

This is the best place to chill and take reset from your routine life. Not very crowded, clean and amazing boating experience. The boat ride is 45 mins it is very rejuvenating experience.

Amazing place to visit when in DAMAN AND DIU!! Best time to visit is in the evening around 17.00-17.30 IST, so as to witness SUNSET which is very pleasant to the eyes! ❤️? Boating cost: 4 people for 30 minites = ₹400, and for 60 minutes = ₹600. The boat ⛵ condition is not as good, and there are life jackets placed in the boat for show off, they looked very dirty! Overall it was a very great experience and Dudhani Lake ?

Amidst Silvassa’s beautiful landscape with small villages, winding rivers, gorgeous waterfalls and patches of tall green trees, stands the large and beautiful Dudhni lake. The grand Dudhni lake is situated at around 40kms away from Silvassa and 17kms away from Khanvel. This large water front is formed by the dam water of Madhuvan reservoir and is surrounded by small hillocks. This is a perfect place for a day’s outing with family and friends. The shining water with lush green surroundings and is an appeal to the visitor’s eye. First thing which will catch one’s attention is the lovely decorated colorful Shikaras on water, which gives one the memory of Kashmir. Tourists can enjoy the sunset view from a thirty minutes Shikara ride by paying an amount of Rs200-250/- for a boat of four people. Monsoon and winters are the best time to visit this lake. The lake area is very less commercialized and thus is less crowded. There are few hotels nearby to Dudhni lake and it is recommended for travelers to stay back at least for a night. The next day’s sunrise is just a heavenly sight and not to be missed. There is beautiful Vandhara Garden adjacent to the lake, which can be viewed with an entry ticket of Rs 50/-. Dudhni Lake is often termed as the “Kashmir of West”. Dudhni Lake A Water Sports Complex has been made just beside the Dudhni lake by the government to attract tourists in love with adventure sports. This complex offers visitors with varied range of water sports like Water Scooters, Water Jets, Rowing Boats, Kayaks and Canoes. The best way to visit this place is to take a long drive on the winding roads, through the woods from Silvassa town or Khanvel to Dudhni. The roads are amazing, and an early morning road trip is advised. Auto rickshaws also run between Khanvel and Dudhni, but they charge exorbitantly.

Beautiful lake with such calming environment, you can definitely look forward to visit this place. Super clean lake with amazing views. Here Shikara boats are available with a capacity of 4 people and it is provided with mattress and pillows. Had so much fun going around the lake in the boat and didn’t even know how even an hour passed there. Definitely a place worth visiting ❤️
