★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a place of faith and belief. You can feel village environment here. The peculiar thing is that, the worship place situated at the boundary of three villages Bhurudakula, Ghantishila and Balidiha. Traditional worship procedure has been adopted since long. A big fare instituted once every year in february-march. People from three states Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand gathered here for brotherhood. Once upon a time I was the representative to local executive magistrate to have a close watch over the fare. As most of the visitor belong to schedule tribe community no such indiscipline found here every year. The rocks are very light and sounds like a GHANTI so as it is named. The big rock spread over an area measuring 4 hectares approximately. Local and outside stone retailers have a greedy watch over the valuable stones but local people protect the rock and protest them. Many of the election candidate choose this place to campaign themselves. The governing local body including the priest are very cordial. If you are going near by, stop for a while , get a attached view of mountain and fountain. If you have more time do not forget to take the blessings from lord shiva living underwater.
