★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the oldest Durga Puja of South Kolkata. This has a permanent Durga Mondop and it doesn't need a pandal to be made yearly. The Durga idol of Durgabari is always traditional and it follows the same pattern every year. This puja strictly follows the traditional puja rules and rituals. This puja is a great nostalgia to the local people and it draws a huge crowd of local nostalgic people who comes at least for one day at this puja. This is a great meeting place for school friends who are separated by distance and time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The entire area is very neat and clean. I have visited to the club with my brother to play indoor badminton, which is inside of the club compound. Do not expect wooden court there, but neatness, cleanliness is the best part.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Durgabari is famous for it's traditional Durga Puja. The place has a special vibe during Durga Puja & the ambience becomes lively. One should visit the place during this time. The Durga Puja here follows the traditional puja rules & rituals. There is a nostalgia surrounding this puja among the locals which attracts a huge crowd during this time. Nice place for youngsters & middle aged people to hangout. The place also serves as a Badminton playing club.
