I DON'T WANT TO SAY THIS TO ALL THE STAFFS AT THE POST OFFICE but a woman on the extreme right counter was extremely rude and ill-mannered. She doesn't even bother to talk to the general public for whom she is sitting there.
I went there for linking my mobile with Aadhaar. I saw in the government's official website that this post office is an updation centre for Aadhaar. But they had a hardware failure since 12th July, 2019 and they don't know how long will the failure last !
When we went to the counter to enquire about it, she just refused to provide any information as if we went to beg there.
I think they don't care about the public.
"INDIA POST" has other offices which are very very nice like the Bidhannagar S.O. but "DURGAPUR H.O. INDIA POST OFFICE" was really horrible.
"I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND NO ONE TO VISIT THE PLACE EXCEPT UNDER EXTREME URGENCY".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't open or initiate any transaction with this Post office. Pathetic service. Wastage of time and money if you are planning to do any thing with this office. My rating is 1 out of 5. Don't be surprised if you see Link Fail board more often in one or two counters.
