★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Municipality, especially Building plan section, full of unprofessionals and incompetent. Bogus rules and procedures. They takes more than years to sanction a house plan, thus making citizens life horrible to rot in rent. May be a nexus with builders and flat people, all employees income and property must be scrutinized by Anti Corruption Bureau. If someone delaying intentionally that means either he is corrupted or he is incapable of that work. Shameful.

All sorts of papers related works done here in the corporation, a good initiative by the the durgapur municipal corporation installed the water atm in most of its wards, clean and hygienic office , bus stand near by the corporation only. Banks hotels, cafes are beside this corporation only.
