A religious shrine having 8 separate temples dedicated to different gods. The architecture is beautiful. It’s built in a huge area and temple of Krishna ji situated right in the mid of a Sarovar. The scriptures on the walls emphasise of Hindu rituals, learning’s and vedas. They have a charitable hospital inside the temple premises. Wheel chairs are also available. Lot of walking involved.

Take one look at Shri Durgiana Mandir (Durgiana Temple), and you might think you're seeing double. With its half gold, half marble facade, the domed structure looks almost identical to the Golden Temple–it's even housed in the center of a sacred lake. While the two temples may not differ much in looks, they certainly have distinctive purposes. Durgiana Temple is a Hindu religious site, where devotees pay tribute to warrior goddess Durga; wealth goddess Laksmi; and Vishnu, the protector of the universe. The attraction is mostly visited by religious travelers, but even everyday tourists will appreciate the magnificence of the inlaid marble and spiritual atmosphere of the temple. On your way inside, pay attention to the exquisite silver doors, depicting holy figures. The distinctive feature is responsible for Durgiana Temple's nickname as the Silver Temple. What a peaceful and calm place on earth!!!! Amid hustle and bustle of Holy City of Amritsar, this calm and serene place (visit this early morning on a weekday) to get direct darshan of goddess Durga. Also visit Hanuman temple adjoining in the temple premises. Donot forget to try Poori chane Prasad available just outside the entrance. Sweets Shop is run by Temple Management Committee, where you can buy burfi, ladoo, pinni for takeaway! Serenity 10/10 Calmness 10/10 Peace of mind 10/10

Beautiful place having 8 different dedicated temples for Hindu Gods/Goddess. Huge place and architecture for the main Durga temple is same as Harmandir Sahib Gurudwara. A lot of walking involved and it has sweet shop and charitable hospital as well in its premises.

This is one of the historical shrines for Sikhs. It's a must visit for people coming to Punjab. The whole area has recently been renovated and very well maintained. You'll find a lot of shops just outside the entrance to try authentic food, punjabi juttis and phulkari etc. Its better to visit in Winters since its difficult to walk in the heat in Summers
