★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Earlier there was a police phari (opposite to football ground of Nebadhai Boyes school) in Duttapukur under Barasat police station (OC/officer In Charge). Few years back, Duttapukur also become a separate PS under Inspector In charge (IC) same as Barasat PS under north 24 parganas police district jurisdiction. Present police station premissies is situated at Sibalaya (Just opposite to Sibalaya BANK of INDIA branch).

Case 1
There was happened a robbery in my house at the time of Durga puja 2019.At that night we went to police station for launch a FIR.After that 2 police officers CASUALLY visited our house and took 2 or 3 casual pictures.We wrote an application and submitted to a SI .But after 2 -3 days he said that - 'we lost your application and you have to submit an application again'-- This was an example of causality of the officers.
Then after a week the incharge officer visited our house and called a suspect to the police station.Then CASE CLOSED. Nothing more.
Case-2
Again my mother lost a phone and went to the police station and the officer behaved very rudely
to my mother and called the area as the very illiterate area he have ever seen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Near about five years ago I met them and then felt very good। by recently visited and faced misconduct। mixed feeling।overall good।and one more positive thing I have to mention, they receive calls anytime a day।so you may feel safe and secured for which I felt more gratitude over them as a local inhabitant। management is of more or less okay okay type।there is a staff who helps people those unable to write complaint letters, if necessary that is also a good point to say I think।
