★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ekamra Kanan or Ekamra Kanan Botanical Gardens is a botanical garden and a park located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.This is the biggest park and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. The park was established in 1985 and is spread over an area of 500 acres of land.This botanical park is a part of Government of Odisha's research organisation Regional Plant Resource Centre (RPRC). In 2017, the local residents and visitors complained that the authority was not taking proper care of the place. The aquatic garden was filled with weeds, and the place was not clean. In 2019, a 2-day flower-show was conducted here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has piece of heart for every other young mass who have come to Bhubaneswar or staying in bbsr. Situated in middle of the city. Huge amount of spaces occupied with flowers, grass, lake, boating space, childrens park. Spending time at afternoon is a bliss here. Bas i didn't like the ticket pricing , felt too much for only roaming around. Biggest park i may say in bbsr is this one.

Go early if you're visiting in the evening because they don't allow to go inside much before closing time.
Though it's a botanical Garden you'll Koraput coffee open sky cafe inside the ekamra kanan. The place is lush green and there's is an artificial waterbody by one side. You can sit by the flowing water and enjoy coffee... Good place for photoshoot too. There is a small children park . It welcomes all age group but mostly dominated by couple and college students. Entry ticket is as low as rs 25.
