The boxes for parceling the cakes were kept near the main door. Very unhygienic. Went seeing the reviews. Very disappointed . There was a paper on the Top and Bottom , very true. But it was torn. The packaging boxes were still exposed to the dust. You can definitely bake the cake in an open studio and claim hygiene. But a complete hygiene means more than that. Specially for a Food Service provider , who should be more aware about packing the product in the boxes. These boxes should have been sealed packed from your vendor and kept at a good place and not at your entrance with torn covering. I stormed off because I mentioned this to you, instead of acknowledging your mistake you argued how correct you were. Please understand , your customer goes to you for quality of the product and hygiene. One supplements the other. I am sure other customers would not be happy to feed their little ones with birthday cake baked hygienically but packaged in boxes kept at the entrance which with torn covering exposed to dust and dirt. I do not mean to criticize you , but please try to be more conscious about these things and take feedback in a positive way.

Wow unbelievable vegan chocolate ganache cake. Better than dairy cakes.

This is review for the Keto section of this amazing bakery! My mom ordered a lot of stuff through El Postre, whether it be cakes or truffles or mousse or tiramisu and everything was 10/10. The items themselves were amazing but also, the level of service offered is so great. Shivani is completely on top of it, she answered all the questions my mom had patiently and was super pleasant to interface with. Highly recommend this place for healthy desserts!

Very promt reply when I contacted them. They home delivered the cake at a nominal cost without any hassle. The cakes were quite delicious considering one of the cakes we had ordered was Gluten free raspberry lemonade cake. The second one was Coconut flavoured Rafaello cake.

This quaint little cakery in Chembur is all set to win your heart with it's delicious pastries and more. We had ordered a Triple Berry Triffle pastry, Chocolate brownies, Ganache and Blackforest. The Triple Berry Triffle was light and the flavour is just amazing. It's one of their bestsellers. The brownies just melt in your mouth, you must must try them. The best part is for the health conscious they have the healthy version of too, their Keto brownies. Coming to the Ganache and Blackforest, both were divine. They have started out with Keto bread too, I tasted their sample and it's super light, healthy and the flavour is very tasty. To sum it up all, El Postre is here to s(t/l)ay :D

’El Postre’ , translates to ‘The Dessert’ in Spanish. Until a while ago Chembur hardly had any good food outlets but within a span of few months the area has flourished with some top notch outlets , especially those serving desserts. El Postre kick started just last week and needless to say it has secured a place amongst some of the best eateries in Chembur. A miniscule dessert parlor with a minimal yet fancy ambience, El Postre also has an open Baking Station for their customers to have a look of their favorites being prepared. From the lighting, to the décor and the walls adorned with the words ‘Eat’ , ‘Pray’, ‘Love’ and ‘Cherish’, this outlet is has customers gushing in or calling up for orders to be delivered right from 11 am in the morning up until Midnight even during Sundays. Most of their desserts are customized, some of which include cakes, Brownies , macarons, healthy bites and cookie jars because lets be real cookie jars are such a delight! We first started off with their Macarons and I have to admit these are the most delectable macarons I have had. We tried out their Charcoal, Red Velvet and Blue Berry Macaron and I couldn’t stop drooling over them . The Charcoal Macaron was my favourite. Made up of edible charcoal throughout, the texture of the filling was on point! The Red Velvet and Blue Berry macarons were a lot more creative in comparison to the usual thanks to their respective jam filling . I would highly highly recommended trying out El Postre’s macarons. Double Chocolate : As cliché as this may sound, but in all honesty this chocolate mousse was by far the best I have had only because of the edible chocolate base. Fabulous creativity here! Ganache : This basically had a chocolate base topped with whipped chocolate ganache which was quite relishing. Matcha : Yet another dessert I would recommend trying is the Matcha. Drawn from an Australian concept, this green tea cheese cake has white chocolate mousse and strawberries on the inside . Well a green tea dessert? Give your palate a taste of surprise! Peanut Butter and Jelly : A chocolate base cake soaked in jelly, this had peanut butter frosting along with some peanuty brittle. Sounds pretty amusing right? Tastes pretty amazing as well. Red Velvet Cake : These toothsome Red velvet cakes were perfectly textured with cream cheese frosting. Their healthy bites include, Granola and mixed dry fruits muesli packets. The people behind this captivating outlet put in a lot of hard work into serving their patrons the best of the best with regards to the quantity, quality and presentation of their desserts. Everything available here is prepared solely by human hands despite having only a few members on the team. This just goes to show that despite being recently established they have managed to grab themselves a spot in the World of desserts only because of the passion that drives them to do so! El Postre has been my first stop when it's about gifting cakes n desserts to friends and family coz I'm assured of the quality, craftsmanship and ofcourse taste!! This time I decided to get my twins birthday cake from El Postre, and I must say that was the best decision in regards to the birthday planning. Everything, from finalising the design to getting the cake on time, was such a breeze.. The whole experience was such a pleasant one, I dont have the right words to express myself. A special thanks to Shivani for being such a good listener and for following our requests to perfection and most importantly giving us the right advice!! Our requirement was simple yet not regular.. Chocolate cakes with no cream or fondant. The designs (one cake had the solar system design and another Jungle book) had to be managed with the above request. I was not sure it could be done well without fondant but to my surprise the cakes looked like an image straight out of the animated series.. And they tasted heavenly.. Thanks to Shivani's advice instead of both cakes in ganache, we got one cake in ganache and one in fudge.. I'm so glad we did that coz the chocolate fudge cake was to die for!! The best part of all of this... The kids loved the cake so much they wouldn't stop eating ?? But I guess that's the most honest feedback the kids could share ? The other cakes that went to family off the counter too were as yummy as all of Elpostre cakes. The sugarfree cakes tasted as good as the regular ones.. Our pick ups for all the cakes were at different timings and I am glad the El Postre team understood our need and helped us with the same!! This review has got delayed a lot coz i wanted to take time to detail everything because its not just about the cakes but also about how the whole process was simplified to make life easier.. A big shout out to the baking team for the divine cakes.. The love and care you put into each of the cakes can be seen and felt in every bite.. A big thanks to the whole team and lots of love from the kids!! It's amazing that you turn 3 a day after my kids.. Makes it even special.
