β β β β β Its a really beautiful and calm place. The right thing to do if you need a break from chaotic and noisy India. Theese gentle giants will make you feel calm and happy. The animals are well cared for by the families and the farm. Its a must to do while you are in Jaipur.

β β β β β Fantastic!
For ppl who are not aware, there is an elephant village in jaipur and inside the elephant village, there are several vendors. I initially assumed all offer the same experience, so started to bargain, but later i got to know that the other vendors donβt offer the same experience as the elefantastic does. We did elephant feeding, painting, a small ride, bathing elephants, and finally the elphant splashed water on us while we were sitting on the elephant. It was absolutely amazing experience. My daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Moreover they treat elephants with utmost kindness by not putting the iron palki which can hurt the elephant.even the ambience is better than the other vendors. Also. The bathrooms were clean and hygenic. One last thing, the venue was in outskirts and these folks dropped us to our hotel in their car without taking a single penny. of course we tipped the driver ?

β β β β β I loved experiencing elephants at elefantastic- The Best Elephants Wildlife Sanctuary, HathiGoan Jaipur.
I came along with my sister, met female elephant Shakuntala aka shakku, We both have fed her sugarcanes & bananas , painted hands on her body, enjoyed bathing & playing with water, and all ended with walk.
We came to know more about asian elephants. Shakku was very friendly with us, she made our experience best with all her love and kindnessβ€.
In the past, i have watched movie called holiday in the wild, after that i was in search of such an opportunity, elefantastic is the place which fulfill my idea of being with elephants.
I will recommend this wonderful experience to all who will be visiting jaipur.
Love to Shakku?

β β β β β Wow, what a phenomenal and unique experience!
I came here with my partner while in Jaipur and it was one of the best parts of our trip. The elephants are so well taken care of (people are not allowed to ride the elephants) and you spend a few hours bathing the elephant, feeding it, and walking it. They seem very happy to be with people and in the sanctuary. The workers treat the elephants very well and shared lots of great information about the sanctuary and elephants. It's such a great experience and way for people to be so close to an elephant. This is a must do experience for any animal lover! When I visit Jaipur again, I will definitely come back here.

β β β β β Note: The actual location is in "Haathi Gaon".
This place is a must visit for any animal/elephant lover. It's one of the most unique experiences ever. You're assigned an elephant and are allowed to bond with it for 2hrs by feeding, washing, and taking a walk with them. As an animal lover who doesn't like riding them, it was a welcome sight to see a majestic creature given due respect and love it deserves.
Visiting this place is not just pure fun but it's also great for the elephants themselves as they get human contact as well as the fees go towards their food and well being.

β β β β β Let me state that I am an animal lover/activist and very aware of animal exploitation.
While visiting India I witnessed many working elephants/animals in general in the street which broke my heart. Itβs easy to get angry and not want to support the industry. I completely agree with that, but do realize the elephant in India is tradition and I respect that this is their way of life. I researched elephant sanctuaries in Jaipur and also researched elephant experiences out of curiosity. Elephantastic was the most humane one I found. I booked the experience last minute on a Sunday for a Monday. They were very accommodating. I read the bad reviews where people said the phone calls were rude, but I donβt think they understand the Indian culture of being short and to the point, also English is the second language for the owners, so cut them some slack.
I found it confusing to book as they donβt have a direct link on their website to purchase the experience. You must first email them to then have them reply and set up the encounter.
Our experience was 10,200 rupees which was worth EVERY PENNY. If you love animals, this is for you. You are as up close and personal as you want to be. It started with a pickup at our hotel by an amazing driver who was friendly and English speaking. He gave us a tour of the city on our way to the sanctuary.
When we got there, it didnβt look like much but our minds were quickly changed. We had a quick safety talk with the owner and then we were introduced to the elephants. They were a great weight, appear healthy, and happy. We fed them bananas to gain their trust then spent a ton of time petting, loving on her, and speaking with her personal keeper, asking any questions we had. The employees were all friendly and answered all of my inquiries. We continued to take photos while feeding her.
We then gave her a shower which she absolutely loved. The kids in the group next to us painted their elephant (nontoxic) but we passed. We then bathed her where you could see she loved it. From there we walked her (you have to walk through elephant village which is sad because other companies chain their elephants) but once you get to the trail itβs nice and you can see the elephant watering hole. If youβre lucky you can see an elephant happy and bathing. When we got back we were taxiβd to the owners moms house for the most incredible vegetarian food. Easily the best Iβve had while traveling india. The driver then took us back to the hotel. He was sweet and remembered the places we had told him about wanting to check out while making small talk that morningβ¦ he brought us to a beautiful textile store and a blue pottery store and also recommended a place for dinner.
Overall, I recommend Elephantastic because they are keeping the Indian tradition alive while offering an alternative to tourists who want to interact with eleβs. They are the most humane option and I choose to support that. I have told my friends about it and will come back the next time I am in Jaipur.
