β β β β β So girls, What do you expect from your makeup artist as a bride?
1. Time & Guidance.
When it comes to your 'D Day' of which you have dreamt from a really long time, you expect your make up artist to put in efforts to make you look perfect & for that she should be available to accommodate you for at least some discussion to understand your needs.
In my case,Β Surya was ALWAYS BUSY and literally never answered my call.
2. To Cover Your Flaws
No Girl Is Perfect! PERIOD!!!
A good make up artist is someone who knows how to cover the flaws and make a bride look flawless, I guess that's the only reason I chose to have a make up artist.
In my case, before even trying to do the needful Surya, pinpointed the negatives and made derogatory comments. This could have been avoided only if we could have had any discussionΒ prior to our meeting.
3. A Confidence Booster.
All I wanted to be a confident bride when tons of eyes were on me on my D Day. But all the confidence was shattered by complaining flaws and my choice of jewellery.
The make up quality isn't any extraordinary especially for the price I paid.
A piece of advice, discuss in depth with your make up artist about your needs and understand her attitude and comment before finalising. Instagram pictures shouldn't be the sole point of surety.

Surya made everyone feel so comfortable in the makeup chair and made sure everyone looked perfect before she left.
