★ ★ ★ ★ ★ one of the oldest remaining irani cafes of mumbai. bang opposite excelsior cinema, the cafe has everything of the old world charm. heavy metallic chairs, tables with marble top, boards on the walls. but the man at the counter is smiling and waiters are happy to serve. you can choose from parsi dishes or stick to the regular irani fare of egg and chicken dishes. everything is tasty and the waiters are eager to explain the dishes. service is quick. water is free. look for the collection of old time pendulum clocks showing accurate time.
