Now long story:
29DEC2019 এ Executive, Seramore এ একটা 3 seaters sofa পছন্দ করি । এমন নয় কি floor assistant দের দশটা sofa দেখাতে হয়েছে, nope, প্রথম sofa টাই আমাদের পছন্দ হয়, perfectly sized for the space we intented to place the sofa at, আর upholstery এর pattern ও পছন্দ হলো । আমরা বারংবার reminder দিয়েছি এই বলে যে display piece টা pathaben না, floor assistant agree করলো । বললো factory থেকে fresh sofa পাঠাবে কিন্তু ওনাদের বেশ কিছু কথা বার্তা এ doubt create করলো তাই display piece এর বেশ কিছু picture নিলাম যেগুলো unique, very unlikely to see the same in other sofa ;) cleverly. Ultimately যখন sofa devilvered হলো, sofa টা যে display piece টাই, সেটা বুঝতে সময় লাগে নি । Delivey challan এ sign করলাম না, দোকানে call করলাম । প্রথমে floor assistant মানতে চান নি যে display piece পাঠানো হয়েছে । আমার collected artifacts এর কথা বলতে finally agree করলো । মিথ্যা এর ওপর মিথ্যা কথা । নাটক শুরু । আমি 2K মতো discount পেয়েছিলাম, কিন্তু সেটা পেয়েছিলাম cash payment করার জন্যে, not for me buying a display sofa, usually যে কোনো দোকান display piece এ 20% - 40% discount দেয়, কিন্তু সেটা প্রশ্ন না, আমরা চাই ই নি displayed sofa and we made it clear again and again, still floor assistant kept on saying sofa তে কোনো সমস্যা নেই, আমাদের নাকি discount দেওয়া হয়েছে display item নেওয়ার জন্যেই, which is a lie and nonsensical, we never agreed to this when made payment. Many more nonsense happened over phone, review তে সব লিখলাম না । STAY CAREFUL when dealing with these people.
Update:
Store had sent a person to shampoo, clean the sofa, thanking them for that.
We were told that the structure (that is not visible from outside) of this covered sofa is made of shaal kaath (শাল কাঠ), a known carpenter confirmed that a 3 seaters sofa made of shaal kaath has to be heavy and can't be lifted by a single person, fact is the one we bought moves even when our 3 years old labrador jumps on it ... funny scene but sad story.
In a word I would say unprofessional, dishonest.
Now long story:
Executive at 29DEC2019, I like a 3 seaters sofa in Seramore. Not that the floor assistant has to show ten sofas, nope, we like the first sofa tie, perfectly sized for the space we are intented to place on the sofa at, and the upholstery pattern and the choice. We have repeatedly stated that the display piece does not pathaben, the floor assistant agreed. Said to send fresh sofa from the factory but some of their message created doubt in the message so I took some picture of the display piece which is unique, very unlikely to see the same in other sofa;) cleverly. Ultimately when the sofa is devilvered, it doesn't take long to realize that the sofa tie is the display piece. Delivey did not sign challan, I called the shop. At first the floor assistant did not want the display piece sent. I finally agreed to talk about my collected artifacts. False A lie about it. The drama began. I got a discount like 2K, but got that cash payment, not for me buying a display sofa, usually any store offers 20% - 40% discount on the display piece, but that's not the question, we didn't want the sofa and we displayed. Made it clear again and again, there is still no problem with the floor assistant keeping on saying sofa, or we are discounted for taking the display item, which is a lie and nonsensical, we never agreed to this when made payment. Many more nonsense happened over the phone, I didn't write at all in the review. STAY CAREFUL when dealing with these people.
