My guide and driver were really nice to me, treated me like a queen. They were also patient because i wanted to take a picture of everything !
They showed me many faces of rajasthan as i asked.
Sometimes we drove 6 hours but even this was amazing because they were a lot of temples on the road.
I spent some nights in luxus hotels, and other night in a more simple way which was really cool because i could compare their hotel standards
People in India are really open. They have tolerance for foreigners, are curious and very friendly. Some people thought i was a celebrity so they asked for picture, which was a plesant surprise to me.
They was no cultural shock due to the fact that i prepared myself emotionnaly and spiritualy. I was open and didn’t expect to see something close to what i’ve already seen im my life.
The only expectation i had from this trip of 10 (beautiful) days was to grow.
I'm from Switzerland and i'm not used to see people lying on the streets not knowing if they're still alive or not or seing 4 year olds beggins for money but this is also part of India.
Thanks to this experience i’ve changed and i became much more stronger.
This destination will change you for the best. Don't be scared, try it out.
PS : I'm a 22 year old woman, i went there alone by myself and absolutely nothing happened to me !!!!
I never felt in danger (my guide was also always by my side)
I stayed in touch with my guide and some indian people i met there.
I want to thank Kailash for his extraordinary invitation and and this country, just because it exists and it changed my vision of life
