Everytime I opened and examined my orders from Fabriclore, I was stumped. Every single thing was exactly how it looked in the photos! From the colour to the quality. Even the face mask was perfect. The stitching precise and exact. I'm floored. They have really set the benchmark, not just for the quality and range of fabrics and products, but also, for online retailing. Their QC is on point and shipping is hella smooth. If you order half a meter of fabric, they confirm with you first. I wish I could personally thank the artist(s) who made my handbag set, facemask, the diaries and the beautiful silk and cotton fabrics. They should get a raise. It's so hard to find the quality that you are providing online! Jaypore, FabIndia, Dastkar, don't even come close. And for the longest time, handmade (at your price point) has been equated with adjectives like 'not finessed' or 'meh quality.' And folks have gotten used to it, to not expect flawlessness from handmade. And yes, within reason, I too would understand that this is thing about handmade but rarely have I seen products where I don't need to sit with a needle and thread or glue to fix things. I meticulously checked the 4 handbags, seam to seam and egde to edge and man. Except for one tiny like cm long space in one of the smaller straps, there was absolutely nothing wrong w them. Actually, I'd go so far as to say, they were perfect. First they looked exactly how I had imagined. The zippers were all smooth. The inside was decent too and the stitching and glueing? Precise and exact. That's not easy to do. Even with the mask, it's so tiny and delicate, yet, the stitching was extremely precise and equal. It was just amazing to watch. Whoever made it, needs a raise. Because they do deserve it! And I don't know if this was intended or not, but whoever designed the diaries and made it a point to ensure that the stitch in the spine isn't too tight, has a great eye for detail. This might be a coincidence but it's there in both the diaries. So idk. Most handmade diaries have such tight spines that you have to fight with them and risk tearing up pages the first few times you use them. The cotton velvet and corduroy fabrics were exactly like the photos. Soft and yes, 100% cotton. The taffeta silk fabric was beautiful as well. I would have preferred it if on the website the exact material is given under some of the cord fabrics (instead of 'corduroy'). But it's all great.
