★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Family of disabled, the NGO with innovative ideas and a vision to create a comfortable atmosphere for disabled people.
Couple of weeks ago I saw this powerful video of the NGO, which changed the way of my thinking. I saw how they are making pencils out of newspapers ! I was amazed by this unique and very beautiful concept. The pencil can be used and sharpened jist like any other pencil ! They are generating jobs and confidence in disabled people that they can make difference in the society by creating such lovely stuff out of newspapers.
Hats off to the vision of the beautiful young lady who is runnig this powerful and positive NGO since many years and I wish her all the success :)

FOD is working different programme to the differently abled people i.e Apna Rogazaar Scheme, Distribute Aid and Appliance, Education and orgazinse Painting exahibition Beyond Limits for disabled people. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is heartening to find that FOD is only organisation of its kind working towards upliftment of differently-ableds.Programs run by it are directed towards differently-ableds making them financially independent.Merchandise produced by this Non-profit made by re-cycling surplus waste is finding wider acceptance.

It has constantly been doing a wonderful job for over 25 years to uplift them by providing support of aids and appliances besides taking care of their education, health and self-employment and enabling them to stand on their own feet and live a respectable life in the society.???

Dr.Johar and Preeti are people who inspired me SO much - their dedication and incredible hardwork to improve the lives of people with disabilities is something you don't see in other organizations. FOD works selflessly to ensure people who approach the organization become self sustainable and independent. Their innovative programmes are aimed at bringing people with disabilities into the mainstream by ensuring they can get an education or run a business or sell beautiful artwork without ever relying on anyone else. FOD is the reason I joined the Development Sector and I will forever be grateful for all the love and learnings FOD, especially Preeti and Dr.Johar, showered on me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have closely seen this NGO work n have donated clothes, wheel chairs, etc. through them. We always got to know where the donations are getting used and also saw it benefit lives of many. Their work is selfless and very unique. They are working with a clear vision that fuels the whole organization to work passionately towards that common goal of empowering the disabled.
