Suvonil Das had bought a pair of lense for his old frame from
Far & Near eye care.However,six months back he had lost one of the glasses.He had asked if Far & Near could replace the lense free of cost
but his request has been declined.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I go back on the request of the owner Mr Molla. The gentleman said the same thing as his abusive staff in a less abusive manner and showed me how bad the quality of the glasses are by taking one out himself before concluding these things don’t come with a minimum repair warranty, I mean think about it, you buy a product by pay close to 1000 bucks and the seller gives tall claims about how nothing will happen in six months and if it does they will fix it. Then they will suddenly backtrack from their commitment and say that they don’t provide any service even if the resultant outcome is caused due to their poor service and not accidental damage. Mr Molla only needs the Mulla! Then he doesn’t know you or his bad quality glasses. Far and Near ladies and gentlemen - far from being quality product provider and near to make you regret and waste your money!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am highly myopic, -10 in left and -8 in the right , with astigmatism. I made my glasses from here - high index to reduce the thickness and it was a silver frame. It total cost me 7.5k. After 1 month the nose bud came off , as I was outside India I could not get it fixed then. I came back after 2 years and asked them to replace the nose bud. They said the factory does not have these kind of nose buds anymore - it is absolutely ridiculous!!!!!. Now they are saying that because of the high power(and the weight of the glass) it broke , when I bough I asked them specifically about it as to which they said because of high index the glasses would be lighter in weight.
I recommend not to buy from here. The owner will do a lot of talking and will lure you to buy from there . But it’s not worth it , very bad experience, absolute waste of money. Previously also I have made hardy frames which did not last long. The price they charge for the glasses are not worth the quality. So please think judiciously before going there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long before there was South City, there was this reliable showroom. WAS! Today I had the WORST experience in my life! I entered the shop when they were closing so naturally they were displeased with my visit. I had given them a sunglass for repair but they never called me up to inform me it was ready. Instead they claimed they called me but I showed them my call list and there was not even a missed call from them! That sorted I showed them my aged mother’s new pair of glasses whose right glass fell off when she was travelling on a rickshaw on 16th August’s heavy rain. She said as it was already blurry because of the rain she couldn’t realise when it fell. It’s hardly one month and the shop keeper refused to acknowledge the fact that the glasses weren’t placed properly and that my mother my have dropped it and is lying! To put it exact, he said he can’t run after my mother to see how she is taking care of her glasses! This is how he spoke about a customer! The other guy in the meantime started closing the shop in a hurry. I asked for the owners name and number but he refused to give and told me to check the bill. I distinctly remember their tall claims of six months and three months and all went down the drain including their demeanour! Today you have lost a loyal customer! If you like to be labelled as a liar and want to repair to glasses even if it is within a month, then feel free to visit Far and Near and insult yourself. Otherwise look elsewhere. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. WORST SERVICE EVER!
