★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New Branch is Not at all worth it. Huge Service issue, basic Solkadhi items not available in special fish thali.. food served on plates are not at all hot.. Even extra chapati order was taking more than 10-15min.. 350 Rs check out size of bombil fish served.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fish Curry Rice (FCR) started back in 2009 is known for its seafood delicacies and one of the earliest to serve fish thali in Pune which now have number of branches spread across the city.
The quality and taste truly defines, which not only leads to win the hearts of patrons but also several awards that too in a row. Much more to tell about this enterprise but as of now coming to main part ie food.
Prawns Alu Wadi - Most highly recommend and I love it too. The precise of this dish which is justify and on very first bite you will sure to fall in love it.
Bombil Techa Fry - Crisp from out and melt in your mouth fish with spicy green thecha filling touch of garlic is must try here if you are fan of bombil.
Pomfret Lasooni - Fresh Pomfret stuffed with spicy red lasooni paste. Slight crispy from out and cooked perfectly, sure to fall in love with it.
Surmai Fry - Simple plain fry big piece of surmai with little of turmeric and salt, slight sourness probably from kokam water is sure to make happy and healthy bite. Simplicity at its best and must trybthis here.
Goan Prawns Curry Rice with Solkadhi - They say there is art of cooking but there is also an art of eating and this what I had learned from the owner Sudhir Bhat. Fluffy rice with mild spicy, orange flavourful prawns curry when mixed with solkadhi takes it on next level which left the plates wiped clean.
The another one, Karwari Bangude Curry is one of the best to have here which also goes best with rice and solkadi. The gravy was slight thick and flavourful with piece of perfect cooked bangude which have slightly absorbed the masala.
Red Chutney - The accompaniments have a Red Chutney which prepared with coconut and red chillies you should try. At times it acts as a palate cleanser and helps you enjoy the next bite with the same deliciousness as before.
Overall this place is surely paradise for sea food lovers and must check in place.

This place is for sure heavenly for sea food lovers.
Talking about the food
I tried prawns aluwadi , lasooni paplet , bombil thecha fry , Surmai fry , Goan prawns curry , Karwari Bangda curry.
All of these were unique and authentic in taste.
Prawns aluwadi was something I tried for the first time and will be most preferable dish amongst all the starters.
Lasooni paplet , paplet served with stuffing of masala having base ingredient as lasoon giving a intense lasoon flavour to the paplet.
Bombil thecha fry , stuffed with authentic thecha , this one has a mild spicy taste.
I also tried their curries also tried it in the authentic way rice + curry + solkadi ( quantity same as curry poured)
This was the first time ever I tried this combination but tasted amazing.
And will continue eating it in the same manner whenever I try fish , curry and rice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently I happened to visit this famous restaurant known for their speciality in seafood. As it was my first time to try seafood, I decided to go for a brand name, and hence landed here.
Started off the lunch with a fusion appetizer; Prawns Aluwadi. Yes you heard it right. The filling in between the leaves is made of minced prawns mixed with spices. This is a must try here.
Pomfret lasooni fry: A huge pomfret well marinated with garlic masala and fried on both the sides. Simply delicious.
Surmai naked fry: 2 Thick pieces of the Kingfish, pan fried with just a pinch of salt n pepper. The authentic flavourful taste in every bite of surmai is heavenly.
Goan Prawns curry, Karwari Bangda curry, steamed rice, solkadhi: The prawns curry was my personal favorite, when mixed with rice and a bit of solkadhi aaahhh. Trust me there's nothing more blissful at that moment. I didn't like the bangda curry much maybe due to my insufficient knowledge about it's taste.
The owner is really a good person with perfect knowledge about seafood right from preparation to the way of eating. As it was my first time, he guided me how to go about it and as a result I enjoyed my meal to it's fullest.
Truly a heaven for seafood lovers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. This is a very authentic tasting place with good quality and quantity. We had the fish thali and we couldn't even finish the whole thing. We did add the bombil which was delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not 5 Stars only because the hotel did not have the item in the Thali Menu. And after asking only it was told that it is over. So probably quick response in taking orders but not same rigour while providing service.
