★ ★ ★ ★ ★ FRO Gurugram has moved from the Mini-Secretariat Building to the new Office of the Commissioner of Police Gurugram. The new office is clean and much more organized than the previous one. Parking is wider, and its location at the ground floor benefits more aenior visitors. The LCD TV showing National Geographic stations and a very good Internet connectivity are pleasant additions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the new FRRO office which has been shifted from Mini Secretariat to Commissioner of Police building, which is a step up. It's on the ground floor opposite the canteen. The office usually opens at 9 am but it's good to reach there by 7-7:30 am so that you can get a token for your appointment early (between 1 to 10 token numbers) and that'll save you time. There are a lot of agents that you'll see here who take multiple tokens for their clients reaching before the time, so you need to be here early. You might have to make multiple visits here ( for submission of documents, after police verification, after submitting the fee etc). The steps to renew the visa are pretty straight forward and you don't have to pay the agents/touts for that. The people in the office are helpful if you talk with them politely enough. Most of them understand English. And for fee submission, you can do it online pretty easily yourself, so don't pay anyone who tells you that they can do it on your behalf.
