★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to try vada pav with authentic taste. Their chutney is quite different and makes the overall taste a bit mild. Cost for 1 vada pav is ₹20.
The is no parking space and is located on a small road. You can though park a two wheeler.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a taste! All the hype is truly justified. The outlet is located in the market area at Naupada, Thane. You will easily be able to identify the place looking at the crowd.
Their speciality is the authentic Maharashtrian style dal chutney that they serve with the snacks in addition to crushed chillies - be it Vada Pav, Samosa or mixed bhajiya. The vada is served fresh and hot almost at all times, since the demand is that high. The service is swift as well.
Must try along with the hot snacks is their fresh lime water. It is served in a glass bottle and is oh so soothing! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gajanan is so famous for its chutney and needs no introduction. I went there randomly when I went to Thane earlier this month.

We had Vadapav (of course) and had to take extra pav as their Vadas were quite big. I am not a big fan of the chutney though. I feel it isn't that unique and it is quite hyped up. Not having the chutney wouldn't make any difference, to be honest!

The staff was quick and they were constantly making hot and fresh vadas every 10 minutes. Brownie points for having a small wash basin in the shop because and eating the chutney with your hands can get messy.

Very much demanding so it may feel like overcrowding, but have a patience taste will not let you go

The place has much to offer with its one of a kind chutney thats the usp of this place. 2nd best thing is price and 1 con abt this is its a bit crowded always and sometimes its hard to eat vadapav inside when its crowded but people manage to add space so no worries at all. A must try if you like vada pav as it gives you a mouth watering taste you wont forget easilyThis gajanan vada pav is served with spicy green chutney and authentic pithla-chutney which makes it a perfect combination of hot ?and spicy ?
