Very remote place from Dapoli, Maharashtra called "Anjerla''. In a hill. The temple was rebuilt in 1780.

Small but wonderful hindu temple. If you are visiting first time and seen Pune's sarabag Ganesh before (talyatla Ganapati) you may notice the similarity between two idols. History behind this is: the Sardar of Gimhavane area ordered this idol for the temple (I not exactly know who ordered and from where). The completed idol seen by peshvas (Pune) and he liked it soo much. He requested to keep this idol in Pune itself. Sardar agreed and kept that idol in Sarabag Pune and ordered exactly same idol again which we can see in this temple. Though these idols are same in all means. I noticed this idol is more attractive and shiny. I think because of polluted environment in Pune and the other side natural environment here made different effects on idol. Another thing is same person made these two idols. So he made second one more carefully ( experience matters) :) the big festival here is Maghi chaturthi which falls in January or February. This day is birthday of Ganesha hope you like this info. I am adding pic of idol so that you can see yourself.

This temple is located at the top of the hills. Surrounded by lust greenery and scenic view of Anjarle beach. Location is very peaceful and less crowded usually. Temple closes at 7pm. Also do carry a good camera to capture scenic photos.
