★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place to visit and great view. It was too hot but luckily we stayed in AC Tents.
Best time to visit: Sep - Jan
Basic tents and bathrooms are not that hygiene outside freakout camping and AC Tents are awesome compared. The support from team in the place for food and other things were awesome.
For AC Tents, you will need to book atleast 15 days before. Awesome weekend gateway from Bangalore.
Zipline from freakout camp is too good! It will be extra charges and it will be per person. Must try!
Lots of garbage is there inside and out side the camp but not in freakout camp! People will have to be more responsible. In addition, there were breaking beer bottles from regular tents that's not fair at all!! When you go Rock climbing you people only get hurt!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superbb place with prompt staff , great views, clean well maintained AC tent with Geyser, shower and nice homely food when you opt for the luxury tent package with lunch until next days lunch option.. The staff guided us with fort visit and boating club visit too.. Had a nice time with my 7 member family with kids

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm a organizer and i would definitely not recommend this place... His name is Sravan and doesn't know how to talk to customers.. he behaves like local goon.. they don't even provide what is mentioned on package even after asking several times.. tents are bad ... No proper facilities and cleaning.. if they can't serve customer.. better shut the place.. nobody is responsive..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a fenced off area adjacent to the Gandikota fort wirth AC/non AC tent accommodation.
The non AC are really not worth the money.
The AC ones come with a double bed, side table, 2 plastic chairs. The tent door is zippable and have an additional outside door with a key lock for security.
There's an attached bathroom inside the tent with a water heater, wash basin, commode.
The tent is quite comfy with moving space. The only thing missing is probably a small mini bar. There's a small place outside this area called Haritha's where you may obtain beers and other drinks at a mark up price.
The tent with AC cost us 2300 per person and is inclusive of breakfast and dinner. There is also a complementary high tea with snacks.
Overall, a cool experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I traveled with my husband to this place, no doubt the view was breathtaking but the place where we had to stay was super dirty. We traveled 6 hrs straight but after reaching we realized that there was no place to sit or take rest. They gave us booking saying non-AC tents(as other tents were booked) but you cannot even sit in those tents during daytime (too hot inside) and the place around it was filthy, we stayed for an hour and came back. Not recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They provide decathlon tents for 1000₹ per head which includes food and bonfire.
If you don't want food and bonfire it costs 1000₹ per tent can accommodate 2 (max 3)
Go for tents in freakout camping zone it's less crowded. It also has few tents worth 3000₹ which has AC and better sleeping accomodation but doesn't have the camping feel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good scenic all around at Gandikota fort. The Aptdc Haritha and Adventure has good arrangements for sports activities and Camping.
Only issue is cleanliness, people litter this place a lot. There should be strict guidelines in keeping the place clean.
Overall a good place for adventure seekers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent location and best place to experience the attractions at Gandikota. We stayed at their tents which can easily accommodate 3. Tents are very basic and are not the most hygienic. Food provided at the site is decent.
Stay away from tent number 6 to 9 (they are close to the common restrooms which stinks round the clock) if you want a pleasant stay.
