This ancient temple is located inside the Bangalore GPO compound near the mail van and postal officials parking lot and the sorting section.
It is a colourful temple with a gopuram adorned with colourful stuccos of Ganesha, Shiva Parvathi and other deities. It is a very pleasing to the eye temple with a huge tree near by.
It is a small temple and is mostly visited by the postal staffs who work here. Behind the temple is the canteen for postal staff where food is served at subsidised rates to the postal staff, but at higher rates to customers who visit the GPO.
Nothing much is known about the history of the temple as when I visited the temple was closed for darshan and the priest was not available.
Parking is available at the GPO parking lot.
