★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unlike Digha or Mandarmani beaches, the Gangasagar beach is not so congested and sea is relatively calm and clear. The cool and salty breeze along with the melody of breaking waves are perfect to lift the mood. There are shops and stalls on both sides of the holy road where one can enjoy tea or buy divine conch(Shankha). Good lighting in and around this beach lends a sense of protective atmosphere after sunset.
